hey, I'm new to the smash tournament scene and figured I should introduce myself after entering this tournament (I also entered Vesticle as Haus but back then I thought wavedashing was hard). I'm a junior attending college in New Haven, CT, but I grew up in the Main Line (western burbs of Philly). I started learning advanced techniques over the summer with some friends from home.
Thanks to everyone at the tournament for making it fun, especially WoZ who teamed with me (I'm the Dan half of 'WoZ and Dan') and is more or less entirely responsible for our 7th place finish. Also thanks to OmegaBlackDeath and Copycat for the money matches (way too good, both of you). And thanks to Cort for four stocking me in a friendly. Can't wait for 8ESTICLE and the CT rankfest.

before I get to the shoutouts, if anyone has Zoso's stuff, please bring it to Vernon on Thursday or to Mass Madness and deliver it to me. Also, if anyone found a silver controller with pink string tied to the end near where it plugs in to the cube, same deal.

Dorf: lol 4 stocked by Chris's sheik, your falco is squandering, but that falcon seems to be beasting more.
Mike$/ZK: I was expecting better in teams because you both are so good individually, step up those team skills. GJ on placings though for singles.
Pipe/Erci: Haha, kids scared us when you beat us second round. No hangover johns next time pipe though it may be Rush Hour 3 and you'd be my partner. ^^
Milktea: Haha, my falcon > you. Go make some friends now please.
PC: Next time I'll win a match against you, close this time... I don't think I have every beaten you in a match before. >_> TY for shirt.

JV/Jam: We didn't play at all, but I'm glad you two had fun! Haha, 20 singles, I was going to do 30 but then I was like that might be a little bit annoying. >.>

Silva: Kids getting TOO good, good stuff winning that other tournament but too bad you had a rough bracket here. Do some teams next time!

Sol/Ky: Kids are too good! ty for going semi-easy on us, or at least I think that's what you were doing. >>
Tetra/Haz: Didn't play at all, but good stuff on 2nd in teams.
Zoso: Didn't play with you at all again... Good stuff in singles. ^^
OBM: You too, we need to PLAY! Though that little gaw is purrtty scary.

Definitely a fun tournament. I wish I was able to get there at the regular time and stay until the end, but unfortunately other priorities always override the Smash.

Mini-shoutouts:

Spawn - good match; sorry I didn't get to do anymore friendlies with you, but we'll play at Mass Madness

Nus - also sorry I didn't get to play anymore friendlies with you and sorry if it seemed like I didn't really care; I had just played about 5 tourney matches non-stop and hadn't eaten in about 6 hours (wanted to go outside and eat and cool off)

Erci - ty for the grats, we'll play soon I'm sure

Trademark - always have awesome amounts of fun playin with you

Cort - I'd like to actually meet you and play with you for real sometime since I need some training (lolz), but I've never really had the time at either of the esticles... maybe at one of the PCGA meetups if I can actually go

I can't wait for the day when I can actually sit down and play with you all for long periods of time. Last esticle I was rushed since I had to get home for my friend's birthday; this time I came late and left early since I hadn't seen my girlfriend in a couple weeks and wanted to hang out (somewhat bad timing for the tourney unfortunately). For those of you who met/saw my girlfriend, now you know why I can't play all the time ;-P.

Hopefully I'll be able to go to the next PCGA meet-up, so you all better be there. It's a little tough atm since I have classes until 4pm on Thursdays and Ultimate frisbee practice at 9 (or sometimes earlier). In a month or so my classes and practice schedule will change so I'll be able to go much more easily.
