obviously im not gonna go in there thinkin hes the same skill level as before. i on the other hand play brawl like 2 hrs a week if that. i borrowed fire emblem radiant dawn from chibo and im addicted to it.

brawl is too fun but i cant play it by myself. the only person closest to me is my crewmate aztec king but he hates on all my characters in every game we play. u wouldnt expect such hatred btwn crewmates but ud be surprised.

Inui lost to mexi and johned about it. Whether it was viable johns, is still up in the air, but chibo got pissed. for no reason.

the only thing i got pissed at was inui calling me garbage and saying mexi was a no name scrub from melee who, like others, is just trying to become good at brawl since its a new game and that hes not good at all, despite the fact he beat him in a tourney set and wont accept the lost.

Me and the players in my area just started our crew, so as such I decided to check in on some other threads to see what EC smash is really about. And this is what I find. ROFL. i dont hate anyone i didnt meet yet. inui, i hate cuz he acts like hes the sh*t and that he is better than ppl he lost to. i thought, for a moment, that he might be a decent person when he shook my hand and then he goes on smashboards and says that he lost because of stupid johns. he played WAY more ppl than i have and he has WAY more experience than i do but i think his pride got hurt when he lost to some scrub at a scrub tourney that he was sure him and velocity would take 1st and 2nd, since he was askin velocity to split wit him at the beginning of the tourney.

I had no idea how to fight Squirbroke. That early in the game, it's a pretty valid john, which is why I didn't care too much at the time about losing to you.

I mean either you have to accept the fact that early wins on the brawl scene mean nothing do to no1 really knowing any type of matchups.While doing this, andre 3000 and soberwolf lose their credibility. Or you can allow those early wins to mean something valid, and mexi's win over you stands as notable..no johns if you chose the latter

It depends on if the match-up is known. I knew how to fight Snake generally, so T-Rex beating me was actually him beating me(Snake owns the crap out of Pit, so whatever). Mr. 3000 was a Sonic and I had no clue what to do.

So whether a match is known or not depends on whether you say it is? Like m2k losing 2 dm, m2k admits NOT KNOWING THE MATCH AT ALL. Does the match now become something that means nothing? I mean why not just drop all records that happened within the first month or so of the game being released. Chalk all wins n losses up to inexperience and not knowing what the hell was going on and get some more wins in the future. I mean the only people who would hold on to past victories(no matter how meaningless they are) are those who believe they will not get them in the future. If that's the case i completely understand, but its kinda bs to create scenerios where losing a match due to inexp is acceptable and others when it is not..Especially when it is in your favor or that of your friends.

Whether a match is known to me definitely depends on whether I say it is or not.

My loss to Atomsk last weekend had nothing to do with inexperience on either part since we play each other a lot. It was him knowing what I generally do and punishing me severely for it(low percent swallowcide to win on Gaylat Cruise, for example).

My loss to Mexi back then was due to Pokemon Trainer being a total mystery to me, not him being the better play or knowing my style.
