Do you see how it becomes impossible to take credit for a victory if every person can simply say...that was a mystery.
N get this, learning character matchups are only PART of what makes certain fights difficult. Styles are imo even more important and difficult to get used to. So with this logic, I can take away the positive feeling annyone ever gets from beating me, by saying I only lost because they were a mystery to me because I didn't know their style. Then go on to say how they are really a scrub, and I will **** them blah blah blah.
If you lose to someone, its fine to realize within yourself why you THINK you are wrong. (Even though most people are completely wrong) But when you put those words out there for everyone to see, its what we call Johns.
The fact that you don't know someones style is EXPECTED, being a little iffy on character matchups is EXPECTED. Thats why we have tournaments, to see who can apply their style the best and become victorious.
I don't see how you conclude that you are better than someone who you never have beaten. Mind you, whatever logic you use to console yourself and allow you to believe you are better than those who beat you....It can be used against u just as strongly. For instance, I lost to mexi because squirtle was a mysteyr. Mexi can say, Dam pit was really weird to fight, I had no clue what he was going to do next, wow what a mystery. Hmm you both were confused, so why did mexi win?
You can't simply take the person out of the equation, and act as if each match is something YOU YOURSELF are playing out. A match is a duel between TWO people, and the fact that you lose a match is very much dependant on that 2nd factor THE OTHER PERSON.
Quick question, how do you define BETTER PLAYER? I mean the game was new, how do you assume you are a better player than anyone? Im seriously confused. The point of the game is to win. Players play the game to win. A good player wins.Mexi won the tournament, there for he was better at winning than you so.....Mexi was a better player. Forgive me if my algebra is a little off, its been a while
