I haven't read too much, but here goes.I reiterate, why does reading you always have to be a crapshoot? Hey, Gorf, Werekill, Xonar, LAK, and Moth, gimmie an Inferno read.

You think I hammered one of my own on Day 1 and then No Killed. Ask Meadowsizzle, I'm at least patient enough to wait for favorable conditions, like a second night kill or a VT role, before I try my shenanigans.

Are you insane? That would be suicidal. I will be the one to hammer, so we need to avoid unplanned L-1s so scum don't self hammer. There is no knife hanging over your neck because no townie is going to be in a position to repeatedly quickhammer and not get lynched.

Saying that a claim shouldn't affect a read and then following it up with posts goading us into trying to let it alter our read seems highly contradictory. Clarify.I await Meadowsizzle to come down like an avalanche about this claim and it should provide some content between the two.

Having been on the planning end of these shenanigans, I want to call bull****. Yet my gut reaction is to trust you due to early game interactions. I'd rather test this and actually call your bull**** but that seems flawed as you wouldn't really claim something this radical without actually being able to back it up or at least make your claim look viable. Right now, you're a lake of gogdamn WIFOM and talking more about your claim or your hammer is just adding to it. I'd rather evaluate your play, which is what I'm about to do.I'm Town Power-Up Collector. I get abilities for everyone I hammer, scum included. Last night I used my Smog power-up on myself to make all the night actions targeting me fail. Doc will be on me from this point on and I will be the hammer. Also, since I'm in a Category Fice hurricane I have to yell every few posts to be heard.
I faked Crocker. I hammered Acrostic for a combination of reasons. I thought he was scum. I wanted an ability. I wanted to see what would be said about it. ****s and giggles.
I guessed Brosuke's motive and can buy that. I see Moth's defense and while I appreciate how helpful he's been, he's given me nothing telling on his alignment. Someone on my wagon is scum, I just have to sift through te morons and I may or may not have time to do it tonight. Scum won't be able to kill me if Doc isn't ******** and even if they have a roleblocker after their smog guy flipped, they can't stop me from building an arsenal. Yes, even if we have a Jailer, target my ***.

That word, "mindless," is why I don't believe your read. Inferno's not mindless town. He's often wrong, but I've played with him in Upickemon and he was so obviously town it hurt (and it's not because I was scum that I'm saying that). He thought, he pressured, he had individual ideas and he unabashedly stated them. He's playing very robotic here, either rehashing opinions from the thread or asking very stereotypical questions without any thorough follow-up. I want to say he's scum for it, but there's a lot of time between then and now for me to change my opinion.

You don't believe my read because you disagree with it? You made the same obvservation that I did, that he's playing "robotic" which is what I meant when I said mindless. Well, that and he was sheeping if I recall correctly.

I'm more intrigued in the completely lack of acknowledgement for the pressure placed on him as well as the above quote.
Sometimes it just is that easy. Sheeping Ryker was an okay thing to do, both Gorf and I were reaching the exact same conclusions without Ryker's input.

If I didn't want to hammer and I did want to draw an Acroscum quickhammer.
If I wanted to start a Ryker scum/indy conversation.
