I wanted to say thanks for such a great tournament on Saturday! It was the first one I've ever been too and I'll definitely be coming to more.

@ Tomacawk : Glad we got at least a few friendlies in. Your [everycharacter] is pretty legit, man. Real sorry about the way the commentary thing turned out. We'll have to bring machetes or something next time.

@Tuesday: Pretty bummed we didn't get to play. I'd like for you to give Icies another chance in Utah, because your Icies are super good, but I know your stance on the issue. Regardless, we'll have to get some good friendlies in next time.

SomethingJekyll/Jackal from Idaho: Your Falcon and Wolf are so good, dude. I thought I could clutch that second game in Melee but the Falcon was too stronk. Your Wolf had some sick combos, too. My Mewtwo wasn't tournament ready yet, it seems.

@ Sexy Yaz : The matchup police were off that day and you got me good with your Peach. Both your Fox and Peach were crazy good, man. We should definitely get some friendlies in sometime.

@C!Z: Thanks for coming out, man. I didn't get to play your Marth, but your Fox was insane.

funniest moment: colus asking my why I'm red and pointing at my wrist. I proceed to explain that because I am so white, the blood flowings through my warms myskin and gives it a red tint, especially in my face. he laughs and tells me "no i mean your wrist band"

Except for the fact that my performance with Fox in that set was the exact opposite of 20XX level. LOL

As someone who works at a hotel, trust me, unless you have a ton of people, venue fees need to be decently high. They aint cheap.

As long as it's only for the big tournaments you plan on doing every 4 months or whatever then I think 10 is fine. It makes the tourney more hype and seem more than a typical monthly.

yo i'm watching some of the vods from the tournament now, and the commentators (who don't play melee) spent the entire time while i was playing complaining about fox, rooting against me, and even clapping loudly in the middle of a match when my opponent took a stock. have some ****ing class y'all were 2 feet away from me the whole time, seriously

just don't commentate at all because i want to take these vods to the fox boards for critique and i'm going to have to tell everybody to just mute the audio

I would never volunteer to commentate on a game that I don't know a good amount about. People should do everyone a favor and not volunteer to give biased and/or uninformed comments. Better to have no commentary than such commentary, if you ask me.

idaho's pm commentary was good, so was support's. pc and yaz were briefly on melee commentary and they did great too, it wasn't all bad. but when it was bad it was unfathomably bad lol
