I'd assume personal reasons. I definitely don't have really any solid deals, but he seems to have quite a bit going on, and I don't think the aftermath of Salt Fest helped any.

I've got a meeting thing at 5 in SLC, so maybe I can swing by Kafeneio's for a small bit. Dunno yet.

Anyway... I'm up for Sunday especially now that I live in the middle of SLC. I'll even try to to get some people from my university too come along. Just need an address to the cafe. I had it earlier but lost it and it got buried in all the posts here.

I'm also up for a smash fest tonight if it's going to happen.

On the subject of EVO:
Watched a few streams yesterday. Some pretty awesome stuff. There were a couple awesome ganons, nice to see something other then the top tiers. And I saw this doc that really disappointed me. He was just messing up his spacing, making unnecessary attacks and movements, and doing a poor job in general. But his recoveries were pretty good. Of course I can't say anything because everything changes when you're in that environment.

The aftermath is mainly everything that went wrong with Salt Fest, which was a number of things in terms of events, and a lot of the tournaments running late. I know at least with the Smash side of things, there was a bit of miscommunication (in which I've learned from as well and make sure is tended to appropriately for next year).

Yeah, the confusion in number of sets was unfortunate, but it's partially his fault for not checking for sure for himself ahead of time. I wonder if that would have caused a difference in stage selection, since they were most likely not banning stages due to thinking it was best-of-5.

And Armada with his cold "I'm not satisfied" face. Hopefully he keeps on playing to redeem himself.
