Well, the Brawl Grand-Opening tourny not being on the 8th of December works for me, as I have college orientation that same day (it starts early and ends at noon, but I prefer not to be on a tight schedule). Hopefully, Brawl will get the same treatment as the Wii, and be released here first for holiday marketing purposes. If it's not coming before December 25th, then it's coming after January 24th (but I still highly doubt it'll be released before the holidays, considering that the big 52 days of delay was probably due to lack of development time).

America did get the Wii before Japan did. We may still yet see Brawl before the year's end. :D

Hold your horses. Japan has a specific date, but we do not. They might be reconsidering something, but then go back to the same release date. Simply just wait until there is a specific date before you start whining.

In the mean time, let's go back to talking about Sonic, eh?

In Iwata's Nintendo Fall Converence keynote address, he announced Japan's delay to Jan 24, then said further announcement within other countries whould come later by those respective subsidiaries. The "TBA" will be a place-holder posted by NCL on the Dojo site until other countries can match their release dates with the newly announced delay. We're waiting on NOA's new release date, but it's most definitely getting delayed here as well, and we'll be getting official word once the date has been reschedualed.

...and I already have the 3rd through the 11th asked of work...

For those still unsure of where this delay news has come from, it's been announced at the Nintendo Fall Conference in Iwata's keynote address (@41:10). It's also been mentioned on the Japanese portion of the the Dojo website (10/10's update), but only extremely hinted at on the English side ("There’s still a little more development to be done...
