Eh not really. This region has put out a few relevant players in pretty much every smash game; unfortunately the rest of us are mediocre at best.gravy is from Upstate? Wow! That's insane!
We have bi-weeklies every other sunday and a regional every other month. The bi-weekly is actually tomorrow, includes Sm4sh, PM, and Melee. The Smashboards thread is kinda dead but the facebook page is alive and running. Just ask to join Syracuse Smash and u should get in almost instantly.New to the area (Ithaca), does stuff happen around here or is the scene a bit slow? I'm originally from the Boston area.
keth plzI miss the days when this thread was called the "NYS Social" already. Everyone start ****posting and we can restore this thread to its former unholy radiance.
it's open to everyone, regardless of age or where you go to school.is the Smash tournament at RPI also available to people at Union or will I get kicked out?
Im going to assume you dont know about the union RPI rivalryit's open to everyone, regardless of age or where you go to school.
I'm pretty sure they aren't selling alcohol.
Smash players aren't that asinine outside of interactions with other players don't play the same smash game as they do.Im going to assume you dont know about the union RPI rivalry
Do it. If you have any questions on how to make it happen, PM me. I've done it.I plan on making a Smash 4 (and possibily Melee) scene in the Queensbury area. Particulary at SUNY Adirondack.
Really all of this stuff is only a problem over the internet though. People gotta pick up on that. I am vocal about my dislike for 4 online, but I'll still gladly sit down and play it with those who like it more than I do.Smash players aren't that asinine outside of interactions with other players don't play the same smash game as they do.
They might if you ask nicely.I'm pretty sure they aren't selling alcohol.
It's not ironic at all. Rochester talks a lot of ****. It has always been that way.Rochester though...
Which is ironic, since the hub for upstate smash 4 is in Rochester.
Closest place thatmhas stuff going on AFAIK is Binghamton. Syracuse and Rochester have a few players that aren't total frauds though; those areas are a safer bet.Hello! I live in Horseheads NY and was wondering if there is anything going on around there? I'm a bit iffy on my skills, but I think I'm decent and want to test that out! Thanks!
Its double a regular cusetown, with double the payout, pot bonus, and convention access. Aint you tryna place top 3 in pm ? 8)Damn salt city is expensive as ****
