Had a nice time yesterday guys. =] Thanks to Rohan for bringing Project M, it was pretty cool. I mean, I'd still prefer Melee in the end, but still a good mixer-uper.

I think 4:00 is when we started it usually, and that seemed to work nicely. However, I see no harm in starting it earlier.
I went to the Chess Club at UT today and met a couple of people who might be interested in playing. One guy Stanley said he played Edgar last week! Hopefully this means we'll get some more people playing smash.

seeing new people leads me to believe that there's some untapped potential in austin! (comin' in with that chess club experience, **** ain't no joke)
in other news, the room is in the reservation process and we'll receive confirmation in a couple of days.
and keep your eyes peeled for fliers around the UT campus! also, my lady volunteered to put fliers at ACC so that's cool too.

People should be allowed a chance to try it and create their OWN opinion... even top level Melee players are admitting the hack is showing promise.
Not to mention since its still in Demo phase, anything wrong with it can still be improved on.

Sounds like yall are on top of the meeting preparation. *thumbs up* I'll try to be on IM more so you can ask any questions. AIM sn is Noc0002 and I'm on gmail a lot for gmail chat. Some advice off the top of my head: don't forget to bring a lot of that stuff I left with Edgar, e.g. the TV remotes, power strips, splitters for using projector, and media console key. And you should get ppl's email addresses. Instead of snacks, maybe at the meeting you could order pizza.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to come because I'm going to see my sister play in a band concert that weekend. Good luck with the meeting and gl at Pound V Edgar!!!11

Will you guys be running Brawl tournament this year? If so, I can easily bring 30+ people. I hosted a Brawl tournament at my apartment, and with only three days notice, I got 25 people to come, including the majority of SA as well as two from Houston.

Maybe the club should have an officer that plays mostly Brawl that could take charge of Brawl events...it is pretty easy to add authorized representatives with an Organization Information Change Form which you can pick up in 4th floor of SSB. Just an idea.
