But, I must say I rather like the idea of doing another Melee tournament much like Endless Challenge since it was so successful. We would almost certainly get a better turnout from out-of-city Melee players than Brawl players, many of whom will be at HOBO 24. And we could even get a bigger turnout than Endless Challenge! I do apologize to the few San Antonio and Austin Brawl players that sounded interested in a Brawl tournament but if we really want to end Smash Club with a bang we will hold...Endless Challenge 2!

The main things that will need to be filled in are approx. club expenditures/income and the names of officers and their titles. I figure that, no matter what, we should reregister the club in case you guys want to hold at least a few meetings next semester. I will do it since I can fill in the expenditures/income part. However, you guys need to tell me who all the officers will be and their titles!

Phase 6 melee singles had 22 entrants. Phase 7 melee singles had 10 entrants. At this rate, Phase 8 will have 4.5 entrants (that's 4 full-size people plus a ******).

Endless Challenge had 29 entrants. Though, admittedly, none of those entrants was Darkrain heh.

usually housewarmings are like mini social parties. nothing too major (unless the host wants it like that). i mean c'mon, sure ya'll play smash but im sure each of yall have other things that interest ya. usually drinking games are seen, depending.

anyways, its like breaking in the new place. why anybody would want a crazy wild party for their housewarming would defeat the purpose lol.

GUYS, so what are we doing for our last meeting??

I'm afraid we need to make some profit so that kind of eliminates the idea of doing a laid back meeting with no fees, unless we just don't get snacks lol. So, we should either do Endless Challenge 2 or a Brawl singles+Melee singles event. Either way, it will be doors open at noon, tourneys at 2pm and 4pm, pizza at 6pm, and $5 venue fee.

The other problem is when and where to have the meeting. Neither WEL nor JGB are available on May 8th. So either we find a different venue or we go for May 1st or May 9th. We might want to try a different venue anyways, one that has phone service would be nice.


Another urgent thing is who, seriously, are the officers and their titles that I will be filling out tomorrow in the reregistration form? Should we have some kind of election? I think you can fill out a form to change officers later if necessary. We should reregister the club, shouldn't we?

Also, what is the financial situation for the club? As far as I know we made a good ~$80 from EC1. I recall a projected deficit of like $90 stated way earlier, so that almost cancels out right? So there doesn't seem to be THAT much of a necessity for profit in our next meeting, but correct me if I'm wrong.

As for EC2, it's apparent that turnout from OOC is looking very bleak. There isn't enough time to advertise it properly AND it's coming around finals time where people can't afford to travel when they need to be spending that time studying. So I'm pretty against the notion for having EC2. I can only foresee a failure. If we only need to make a small amount of profit, then we can just have a small melee tournament with some percentage house cut; better yet, just cut how much deficit we're in LOL. (No but seirously, EC2 isn't a good idea and there are other ways to get profit.)

We definitely DO want to re-register the club. The logical order of ascension would put Edgar to be president next year (considering he is vice-president this year). Hence why he is Emperor.
