It's not like "we" is one single entity. I think Bayo 3 is big news but most people wouldn't care. Same with me and a lot of franchises people beg for.

Apologies, I should have worded that better.

My point was more on general Nintendo wants right now (such as Animal Crossing). While the AC fanbase and general Nintendo community seems to consider that a big deal and what should be Nintendo's top priority, Nintendo themselves may not feel that way. I mean, they've dedicated huge sections of Directs to smaller games and indies in the past. I'm not trying to put those games down by saying that, either: I've played indies that are better than 90% of AAA projects on the market (in my opinion), but compared to what usually gets asked about the most when regarding Nintendo at the moment, they aren't high on many people's lists it seems.

This could mean any number of things. It could mean that Brave is Erdrick, and he'll be revealed in tomorrow's Direct. It could mean that we'll get release dates for the already-announced ports of Final Fantasy 7 and 9. It could just mean that he's a fan of Nintendo, or that he wants to boost interest in Square-Enix titles on Nintendo consoles.

I just don't want people to get their hopes crazy high, like expecting that Sora will be added to Smash Bros. because the producer of Kingdom Hearts retweeted the Direct announcement, only to be disappointed when the Direct doesn't meet their lofty expectations.

There's no reason to post that twice on the same page. It also doesn't affect chances of a character getting in, as we've seen many times before. The % chance is still exactly the same as it was before the tweet.
