Afaik, Devil Summoner is the only game where you can give a girl fire spells by calling her "hot", so you know which SMT game you should pick up first now.
Ok?
I mean, I will look for it since you said it is the best option for a first SMT game, but I don’t find that detail of the fire spell as a huge deal.

I just hope that I like it when I get the game.

It was a joke.

You don't need to reply this.

The modern hate for Minecraft stems from a lot of different factors, but honestly I think much of it can be simplified to "this game is way too popular and has a trash fanbase full of immature kids".

Which is stupid because that's essentially claiming that the game on it's own and everything about it is bad all because of the people who play it, and/or the sheer amount of people who play it. You can't blame the game for any problems it's fanbase presents.

In recent years, I've seen tons of games (especially Indie ones) unfortunately fall victim to remarkably similar kinds and amnounts of incessant hatred. TV Tropes has an article for this situation, they've termed it "It's Popular, Now it Sucks!". Yes, you're perfectly free to have your own opinions, there's nothing wrong with not liking a popular piece of media on it's own, I shouldn't even have to explain that you're entitled to have your opinions. But what is wrong is shoving your hatred of the game down people's throats the minute someone brings it up or states they like it, as well as associating anyone who plays it with the "immature brat" stereotype that a lot of people hold in regards to the game's fanbase. Not only is that completely unfair, it's also entirely hypocritical to call the fanbase "immature" or "toxic" when you're going around spouting insults and rage over the game and it's fanbase at the drop of a hat.

I'm not accusing anyone here of exhibiting this particular behavior, but all around the 'net I've seen countless people who do act like that, and chances are most of you have as well, at least at one point. Personally, I'd advise doing everyone a favor, and that includes yourselves, and consider being a little more open-minded about the game, as well as the possibility of Steven getting in Smash, if you're not already. The game and it's fanbase get way more than enough hate and backlash as they are. Nothing good will come from contributing to it.
Tbh the only thing I don't like about Minecraft itself is the artstyle, which I find pretty ugly. Other than that, It's a fine game.

A huge, huge component of this is YouTube.

I have three younger siblings that are all in elementary school. They watch more YouTube than regular TV. The children's demographic on YouTube is HUGE. Some of those channels get as many views as Dunkey and JonTron get in an average upload, but with less effort and way greater frequency. One of the channels they watch is of a whole family, and they get millions of views each upload, and promotional trips to places like Disney. Some of the videos and channels are starring actual kids, too.

Of course, though, the content these channels produce is pretty unbearable to watch for anyone with any sense of maturity, and it always is about whatever's big with the kids currently. Years ago it was Minecraft, then Undertale, then Five Nights at Freddy's then Bendy and the Ink Machine, Hello Neighbor more recently it's Baldi or something (dark/disturbing games seem to be prime material to target at children, apparently), and also Fortnite. And these videos can take any form, so long as they're doing enough to engage young children and about one of those topics. Crappy songs, animations, live-action skits, whatever.

And because that content is so huge and numerous, that becomes the lens through which the game is viewed through, even if it's not really the game's fault. Though some games definitely do lean into that success, like FNAF, Bendy, and Hello Neighbor. Walk into a GameStop and you'll see merchandise for those games in some form. And when you take your kids to GameStop and they see that stuff, they'll want it.

If you want to make money on YouTube, sell your soul and target your content towards kids.

I do wish the community could find common ground among Steve and Banjo (and Kazooie, too), but even if they did you'd probably still see more than a few people claiming that one got in over the other and that they "didn't deserve" to get in, at least for a while. This being a case of a third party, in particular Microsoft, I would understand that at least, even if it's not entirely justified.

And really, I wouldn't blame someone for being upset if a character they really wanted, longtime or not, didn't get in. I would say don't give up hope entirely when/if we see one but not the other get revealed this year, however. Microsoft may be a different company, but the fact that we have both Mega Man and Ryu in 4 and Ultimate is solid proof that Nintendo's perfectly okay with having more than one fighter owned by a single specific third-party company on the roster. It's entirely possible for both the duo of the Bear and Bird and Steve to get into Ultimate.

This.

Also Banjo-Kazooie and Steve has completely different reasons for their potential inclusions and only reason people act like they are rivals in the first place is that stupid "company rep" mentality.

When we do get another Nintendo Direct, I really hope they announce/reveal something about Mario Kart. Seriously, whether it's a few new cups and battle courses being added to MK8D, or showing off Mario Kart Tour, or a ****ing new Mario Kart game, I just really want to see more Mario Kart stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

more MK8 dlc would be the best evidence in favor of fighter's pass 2 so i'll take it

So I just found out this was a thing and I felt the immediate need to share it here.

And now I can't unsee Wesker as a Giovanni stand-in for a Resident Evil/Pokemon spinoff.

With MK8D still selling well, I think it'll be a little while until we see another. Then again, the team that made it made ARMS, and ARMS is almost two years old. They have to have been working on something for the past two years. Nintendo Kart

Anyways, we haven't had a substantial Nintendo Direct in February since February 13, 2014. Otherwise in recent years it's more commonly been March or April. Not that there's any true pattern to this stuff, as we well know, but January and February are kind of awkward times to announce information, so far away from E3 and the year's holiday season. I'm anticipating March, since Yoshi comes out at the end of that month.

I have a gut feeling that Smash Bros Ultimate is getting a second fighter pass. It just seems like it makes sense for them to support Smash for as long as possible.
or, y'know, maybe my "gut" feeling is just gas, I don't know the difference ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think we'll see a MK9 before more MK8 DLC content.

Unless Nintendo is super specific about their "only 1 mario kart per console" rule.

Oh snap random shower thought

What if our Microsoft character is Cuphead if we did indeed get a Microsoft rep?

I mean he does count as one, his game was only on Xbox One and PC. He could even have a Mugman alt

Mario Kart Ultimate:

Realistic: Huge roster with several courses spanning across all Mario Kart games

Possible:
Huge emphasis on other Nintendo franchises. Kirby, Samus, Fox, Captain Falcon, Excitebiker and others join the race.

Let me dream: Pokemon join Mario Kart. Mewtwo is a playable racer, but he doesn't use a kart. He just flies around the track hovering close to the ground.
