Imo, this is enough stuff for a moveset.

The only thing that makes me iffy about Erdrick is the fact that he uses a sword. That alone wipes out a lot of optimism from me. I mean, there's not much you can do to add variety to sword attacks besides, "This character's f-air has him swinging it over his head while this character's has him swinging it in front of him."

I posted a lot of stuff he can use outside of swords.
He could use a club for the side smash, for example.

More than unique, it could be a fighter with many options in regards to weapons.
The only one I don’t remember being used by other characters in Smash is the club.

Yes, but if he's wielding a sword as his main weapon, is it realistic to expect him to use many of those items you listed for anything outside of his specials?

Should Erdrick get a sword, most of his tilts, Smash attacks, and aerials are going to make use of that. I'd love to be wrong and see him pull out different weapons for every attack, but that's not something I'm holding my breath for.

But seriously. A DLC character has to have a certain clot to them. They have to be a popular enough character that they sell on their own. And I don’t think any Nintendo characters that are left have enough of a pedegree to do that.
