Aside from Level-5, do you guys think these companies have any characters that could be viable for Smash?

Like Idon said, some do, some don't. Here are some:

FromSoftware has the Dark Souls franchise being their best bet. Specifically, Knight Artorias and Solaire (both from Dark Souls I) have been discussed on this site.

Falcom has the Ys series, where Adol, one of the first JRPG protagonists could make it in. Maybe a Cold Steel character, assuming the series' exclusivity on Sony platforms doesn't affect it.

Spike has the Danganronpa series. Momokuma could be an insane choice, especially if Sakurai finds a way to implement punishments for every individual fighter.

Nihon Falcom's Adol is long overdue to show up, I will say. Preferably once the NO MORE SWORDS talk dies down a tad beforehand.

Only other option is to go against the grain by allowing a Trails of the Sky/Cold Steel character in here.

First of, I resent the fact that Luigi's Mansion 3 isn't one of the options in the poll.

Other than that, my main hope for E3 is the same that it is every, Pokemon Snap 2. I actually told my coworkers recently, in a somewhat jokey way, that I want a rerelease of the original Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Snap 2, and a Pokemon Snap spin-off. I would literally be in heaven.

Then, I told a friend recently that the coolest possible thing that Nintendo could do at E3 is release the Eartbound/Mother Trilogy as full 3D remakes with the originals as extras on the disc.

Guys Sonic Kart soothes my soul

I only paid $35 dollars for this game and I already feel like it was more worth the money than most full price games

Guys karting through Spagonia feels more like a 3D Sonic game than Unleashed actually did and I liked Unleashed

It doesn't have the boats and planes of Transformed, but considering I still haven't entirely figured out a lot of the mechanics at play here that's

It doesn't need separate transport modes there's already a lot going on involving juggling your squad

I mean if Sumo made an All-Stars 3 after this with Bayo, Joker, and Ecco I wouldn't complain though

But Sonic Kart was secretly what I wanted the whole time when I got Transformed anyway

Except maybe Zavok.

But that might just be me being bitter at Tails' full character assassination coinciding directly with when he started to show up. Considering a clan of technokinetic oni is actually a pretty cool and terrifying villain setup in the context of the Sonic universe what with Eggman constantly leaving fodder everywhere and his color scheme primarily suffers from being too loud, ironically an edgier Sonic game might be exactly what he needs. But IDK I pretty much stopped looking up Lost World cutscenes before anything involving him by himself ever showed up because the rest of his squad was coming off pretty one-note. I can let him prove himself if SEGA takes the time, last few years have clearly been a mess for them internally.
