Hey y'all, Serious Scott here, for a moment. I know the thread/most active part of the site has been goin' under a lot of lefts and rights lately, so if I could give any words to any of the situations involved - including past ones - now that I have the time, I'll do it here.

I could understand where some of these situations coming from, as of very recent, I've almost came close to relapsing. If any of you caught what Hinata Hinata relayed while I was gone, not good stuff. Thankfully some of that has been getting better quickly, such as my standings of my job and other stuff.
I think I've said it when I came back, but this month is still kind of a "Me Month" so if I've been posting rather infrequent, it's because of that.

However, it's a clear example of how what half of what Scoliosis Jones Scoliosis Jones said above and half of what I'll say here - **** comes at you real quick. Feels like you really can't do anything, and you need that support system. Sometimes it's your friends, family, or just outlets with people you don't really know. Hence why I could see people using this site as such.

Of course, sometimes you aren't ready for what might possibly happen or what events will transpire to be, but if anything I learned, it's that it's best to have a smile on your face and just try. Try to think of a solution or to be a helping hand in anyway. Whatever the situation is and depending on what the situation is, sometimes that someone behind the avatar might need it. They're a person, too.

Whether you're a popular or small poster here, we're all in this together, so through the memes and roasts, differing opinions or agreeing ones, when it sometimes looks to turn or be a bit south, we just have to remember to be there for each other. I really don't really know where I'm going with this, but overseeing some of the stuff and overall vibe that's been going on lately, it's the least I could do. Even if it's just a brief moment.

By the way, semi-unrelated and to maybe give some relief to people, but there's been something that had been eating me on the inside for a tiny bit and I think Cutie Gwen Cutie Gwen brought it up (she does bring up a reasonable point about lurkers), but if you need confirmation it's the real TotsBS, here's my Discord DMs with Hinata Hinata . Old account was TotsBS#7256, which obviously isn't anymore, so some of you who I DM'ed this when I deleted my account before will know.

Isn't this the point where Squeenix started characterizing him as a full-on edgelord in contrast to a dork who tries to act all serious, but falls short most of the time? I'd really like to see how his old persona would transition into the modern landscape.

Do you ever get more than the feeling that people think certain things about you? Like, not just "oh they think [x] about me because I don't like [x] about myself" but you get more and more proof that they actually think that way? For context, I was at a party on Saturday and the sister of my friend said "Oh I know your sister from physical therapy" and I replied "Uh, A .... A-a-anonymous, right?". At that moment, I thought it was fine, but I called my sister and asked her if she knew that girl and my sister said that the girl told her: "that I forgot my sister's name". It clicked there that me stuttering on my sister's name to the other girl made the girl think that I forgot my own sister's name. Like, I don't forget my own twin sister's name, I just stuttered, but apparently, there's that disconnect between me and others that prevents me from knowing what they really think about me. I don't know, it really doesn't matter in the long run but it just makes me feel super self-conscious about myself, like what I project onto other people about myself is true and that scares me. It's minor stuff, but it's my life all day every day, and it just builds up. What if they think I'm nervous when I'm really not? What if they think I'm unknowledgeable when I'm really not? What if they think I'm being inconsiderate when I'm really not? What if they hate listening and watching me talk, but don't tell me to be nice? Sorry for the rant, I just had to get that out there and vent.

I'm not going to comment on the entire situation, as I have a lot of personal thoughts. I will say that Golden is my friend, and despite that, I know issues come up with him. I try to delicately handle situations with him if I am able to(when I'm not involved already but also when my bias via friendship could be relevant). I don't feel I actually took care of posts relating to him right due to the friendship though. I can't really say more other than I am not perfect and sometimes have made decisions in haste, or not acted fast enough.

I was more visible during the Smash 4 days in the Lucina / Marth sub-forums as I used to moderate them and compete in tournaments pretty heavily. Nowadays I work on Rankings. Also hi!

The Dragon Prince is excellent and I recommend it to everyone! But since I am completely biased to Physics and any topic that falls within its realm...

For the record, and perhaps to ease your mind, there was never any doubt in my mine.

There's no human being on this planet crazy enough to assimilate a YouTuber as their primary method of communication via Scottposting but you, and being who I am and doing what I do I assure you this is absolutely a compliment.

Just because it's not an infraction fest Space Stranger led **** storm doesn't make it any less a storm.

This one is full of depression and hate.

Objectively worse than most of the **** that has gone done, yeah.

Unfortunately I'm still not able to post images directly from my computer where I have regained my powers so lately Scottposting has been on the downlow ever since my return. Sucks to always link to Imgur every time.

That's nice and all, but not the original point of my post.

What I'm saying is that theres been a lot of negativity. Outweighing the positivity. It's no ones fault of course. It's just an observation that I've noted for the past few weeks.
