Also redfeatherraven redfeatherraven I see something you like there
Hmm?

Something I have heard for a while now is that a new Wild Arms game is in development but it has been over a year long journey getting that verified. I still struggle to get definite enough confirmation but I think it might have been because I heard about it too early.

Iiiiinteresting.

Tempered expectations, of course - the quality kinda dipped after 2, apparently the info's scarce, and even if it's on point there's no reason to suspect that it'll survive the full cycle to hit the market, especially if Million Memories tanks.

But hope rides anew. I'll take what I can get.

Both those tracks are great! You must really like water level music, huh?

Well, um, here's my favourite water level music:
I'll just link it, for all the mobile users sakes.

It's Aquatic Ambiance from DKC, just so you know.
Water levels are the best when done right. The atmosphere of being underwater can be absolutely beautiful.

Another amazing water level theme is A Hat in Time's Clock Towers Beneath the Sea. When hearing it ingame for the first time, I didn't play the actual level for a solid two or so minutes because I was too busy simply listening to the music and looking around at the level, ha ha.

Imagine being able to choose a single song as your favorite. I have nothing to add there, so check out the Paper Mario Color Splash soundtrack. It's excellent.
It's surprisingly decent. There are some songs that are better than what you can find in the previous Paper Mario games. Favorite being Sunglow Ridge.

After my break, I realized I had these still quoted and wanted to respond.

I still don’t understand what is wrong with embedding things.
if someone has slow internet lots of embeds will make the page load more slowly, and if they have limited mobile data then embeds will use it up more quickly
Because porn. You could be linked to porn without knowing.

But that's an extreme case.

I still think A Hat in Time has one of the best soundtracks out there. It reminds me of Sonic Adventure 1 where most songs are diverse and accomplish what they set out to do.

Great stuff. Now enjoy Mafia Town Is Asleep.

Remember when we used to have a "3 embeded videos per page" rule? Good times, we should bring that back.
Considering a good chunk of users here forget the rules, I doubt people will remember it.

Wanna edit the OP?
Honestly, by the time it's edited to something else, people will just forget again.

PsySmasher PsySmasher So you saw the results of GOML? This tourney has sustained my interest in using :ultroy:. On the other hand, I don't like :ultwario: at all.
Yep. I did not know Tweek played Roy, but as soon as I saw him body Marss in WF, I knew he was gonna win the entire thing.

What I did not expect was how well ESAM did. The guy took out MKLeo and almost took out Marss too.

I always though he was a great player, but never on the level of those guys, guess I'll have to reevaluate that.

Overall great tourney.

GOAT taste.

It's crazy how good a significant majority of Sonic game OSTs are; Unleashed, COlours and Generations are standouts of modern Sonic imo.
This might be a hot take, but I'd put the Sonic series' music quality among the best in gaming, alongside the likes of Zelda, Mega Man, and Final Fantasy.

Even 06's got a killer soundtrack. Aquatic Base Level 1 is legitimately one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard in a video game.

I'll let you on a secret...

Feeling fur makes me legitimately uncomfortable. Welcome to the world of autism... :yoshi:
Yeah that’s understandable

On the other hand I’ve always wanted a fluffy pet, but my dad says pets are forbidden, so I’ve had to live out my floofy dreams through Pokémon.

What I didn’t show was that Totodile, Treecko, Snivy, Froakie and Sobble were all (or will be) in my second play through, because I love scaly things just as much as fluffy things ;)

Is that really a hot take?

The Sonic series is all over the place, but the one consistent thing most people agree with is the music is amazing.

Absolutely agree. That song is gorgeous.

I'd also recommend Radical Train. This is seriously catchy.

AHiT is legit one of the best games out there. The devs have had some missteps with it, but even then it's still a masterpiece. Really need to play Nyakuza Metro soon here.

Sonic 06's OST is fan-stinkin'-tastic. It's the one thing the game did right, lol.

Also yeah, I'd say Sonic deserves to be considered amongst the greats when it comes to video game music. The amount of variety and consistent quality the Sonic OSTs offer is honestly better than most.

Also, I'm gonna go ahead here and be the one guy that actually likes Aquatic Mine.

That Pumpkin Hill remix, y'know in the level where Shadow and Rouge make a new battle royale game? One of the best songs in Sonic 06.

Not to mention that Kesha remix during the opening cutscene.

I think out of everything Sonic has going against it, you never hear people complain much about the music. Even from the mediocre stuff like Sonic Forces (Fading World).

Fondest memories with the series was listening to the weird (but extremely ambient) rap music in Knuckles stages as I got lost in them. It wasn't fun, but at least the music was good (Meteor Herd).

I just played it. Honestly.... too old school for me. I’m glad I played it, but the controls and the lives... my Sonic game of choice is still Generations.
I feel this honestly. I suck at Sonic because it's a mix between wanting to go fast and dying because you went fast lol. Sonic Generations and Colors hit that sweet spot with me where I could go fast and have fun, even in the classic Sonic stages because that spindash is busted.
