I get it. I thought it was good but didn’t compare to other finales. I think the biggest problem is that
Mina wrote them into a corner by being unstoppable.
An hour would have really done it justice.their mission was too easy feeling as no one was really a threat. The pudding also removed the hardest part of the realm of magic.
However the former queens offering support was touching, especially seeing solaire approval of eclipsa.
But they should have done an extra half hour that gave us closure with all the big characters, like Tom and marco’s group. An ending with them all together realizing what happens would be cool. Also there could have been some more focus on the aftermath, whose running mewni? What happens to all the worlds now, etc.
Mariposa and meteora getting a reunion would have been nice. Ludo getting more would be good too. And maybe have it end with star pondering what happened to all the magic based realms and her and Marco mentioning how they’ll figure it all out together with all their friends now.
Just some thoughts off the top of my head. It had some touching moments but was short. Overall it wasn’t too bad.
Also damn heckapoo literally committed suicide.
You're not alone. Not only was the Realm of Magic thing really rushed (Mina was taken down by a single unicorn, come ON, at least give us a longer scene of her and Solaria together), but after the magic is destroyed, nothing really felt resolved. I mean, it's bad enough they wasted a few minutes with Ponyhead rambling on about what the side characters are doing (seriously, who cares what TALON is up to?), but then we get that final scene with the portal fusing Earth and Mewni together, and then... that's it.
Nothing about what the world is like now that two dimensions have fused, no real closure for anyone's character arcs (what are Moon and River up to? How are Eclipsa and Globgor hanging on? Mariposa and Meteora never saw each other again after their journey through the Neverzone), just Marco and Star meetin' up, and boom, roll credits.
Also, the fusing of Earth and Mewni seems really dumb. Now the people of Earth have to deal with monsters, and I'd say they'll be much more hostile towards them, and they also have to deal with a ton of new dimensions and people suddenly merging with theirs.
But hey, at least two teenagers can still be in a relationship.
(the scene where they cut to the dead magic high commission was hilarious, though)

Tiny Aqua guys, tiny Aqua...
Season 3 is great, so was four up until the end when it really divided people.I stopped watching Star after season 2 but judging by what I've heard I kind of dodged a bullet lmao
The finale was not worth the investment I put into the series.I stopped watching Star after season 2 but judging by what I've heard I kind of dodged a bullet lmao

What Hinata said. The finale was not worth the investment I put into the series.
This would've solved many of the finale's problems... but not quite all of them. More time alone would definitely not be enough to resolve the biggest plot point of all in the finale. From what I've seen Star feels like it should have got another season to properly wrap things but they got axed and rushed everything.
I never watched that show, but I know it's probably much better than Konosuba from what I seen.- Everyone hopping on the KonoSuba bandwagon and posting memes of it.
