Well now that Star Vs is done, Gravity Falls has concluded, and Wander over Yonder was taken out back and shot, it’s like the end of era for Disney cartoons.

I hope the new era’s good. Amphibia and Owl House seem promising.

I hear that Gravity Falls had a good finale.
I heard some other users say they had Gravity Falls on Netflix, but I do not have it for some reason.
Netflix also doesn't have Part 3 of Jojo either, which is a bummer.
My Netflix has a handful of Disney films at least.

Adventure Time and Regular show had great endings imo. Samurai Jack could have been divisive and maybe rushed, but overall is a proper closure.

Time adventure was really good though.

You guys seriously need to watch Hilda if you have NetFlix. Basically Adventure Time and Gravity Falls mixed into one. Lovable characters, great premise and setting and a nice breath of fresh air. What a cartoon should be for kids rather then the usual slapstick humor and toilet humor.

Hilda was a nice watch, though I wasn't too fond of most of the characters.

Yeah, the shipping got a little much (and this is coming from a diehard Starco fan) - but it was still a fun show. I shall miss it dearly.

I'm still mad Rhombuluis never redeemed himself and that we're just supposed to be happy that he and Omni are dead.

That whole friendship he had with Star in season 2 and 3 was all for nothing. I get that it can be inteprepted as a message that even seemingly good people you bond with can turn out to be bad, but ugh...I wanted better for Rhombulus. Same goes for Omni.

Hekapoo if nothing else was largely neutral, considering she just gave the hell up on Mewni before casually approving of Star's decision to destroy magic.

Star VS. was fun at first but TBH the shipping started overtaking too much of the story for my tastes and I lost interest. It started getting this tween Disney show vibe about it I was not into at all, lol.

Honestly I thought the shipping was interesting because of the way it portrayed romantic conflicts. It's not always easy for people to understand their feelings and to get together.

...I do wish that Starco was executed better, though, since it was ultimately the ship the show made official in the end.

Also I never watched Samurai Jack but I still find it wild they decided to give Jack a love interest much younger than him and only in the final season for cheap drama but hey what do I know about children's cartoons?

It's been a good while since I watched Star vs. But now that it's over, maybe everyone will start to focus on Big City Greens and Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, AKA the true best Disney cartoons.

I would argue Regular Show had a good finale but that's just my opinion.

The finale was solid, but IMO not the best episode. I'd still give that to Exit 9B.

Season 2 of Hilda and season 4 of My Hero Academia just can't get here fast enough can it? Gotta wait until like October of the latter and 2020 for the former.

At least I got plenty of movies to keep me patient though like Brightburn, Godzilla 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Crawl, Hobbs & Shaw, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, It: Chapter Two and Ad Astra as well as watching Yu Yu Hakusho.

Oh and plenty of other movies and shows I tend to watch every week at home.

Lost ran for 6 years, starting off very well received but ending with one of the most divisive series finales ever. Game of Thrones started just a year after Lost ended and seems to be following this same path.
So basically keep an eye out for any promising 2020 series so you can avoid the inevitable disappointment after getting invested.
