So my day was literally just made when I was out with my client and went to one of the local comic stores. The guy who works there knowing how big of a Godzilla fanboy I am gave me a copy of Godzilla: Aftershock. Definitely has helped my patience more for the film now. This, Rampage and The Meg literally appetizers whereas the film is the main course.

Played a bit of Smash Ultimate online. I'm trying to play two matches with each character, and I really like Bowser in this game. I played one match against a Joker where it didn't seem like it was going to go well - they were dancing around me and building up my damage really quickly, while I couldn't land a hit. The good thing is that, when I did land a hit, that's all that I needed, because Bowser hits like a truck. I wound up winning (which doesn't happen often) thanks to some well-timed Smash attacks, along with his side-B whenever it seemed like they were going to use Joker's counter/guard special.

I know competitively, lighter and faster characters are more popular, but I can never get the hang of them - heavyweights like Bowser, K. Rool, Ganondorf, and Snake are so much more fun to use for me!
