A Square-Enix announcement at the State of Play has been hinted by Daniel Ahmad (ZhugeEX), a major industry insider and financial analyst. Possible FFVII Remake re-reveal confirmed?

Last time I said “Don’t expect much”.

Well this one will be better than the last for sure. We'll see updates to Sony games, a new title (as mentioned in the OP) and also the re-reveal of a third party game that was announced long ago.

Fire Emblem Heroes? Sonic Heroes? Heroes, the TV show featuring the hero named Hiro? (I really liked the first season of that show; later seasons had their moments, but I disliked Heroes Reborn for how it treated most of my favourites from the original series)
