That's why I want to read his 80's series. I like some of Bendis' work, but not all of it.

“The Moon Knight guy”?... got stories?

Heh. He's a nice guy, but he's... off. And obsessed with Moon Knight.

He's a chubby man in his late 40s with a combover and thick spectacles like the stapler guy on Office Space, and he stands directly next to the front counter talking awkwardly with anyone working or anyone buying something, in the process trying to relate it back to Moon Knight within the first sentence. It's literally the only thing he'll talk about. That is not an exaggeration. He talks about nothing else.

And when I'm in there (I'm friends with all the guys who work there so I go and just hang out from time to time) he'll ask if his next issue of whatever Moon Knight series is running will be coming in every ten minutes like a nervous tick.

"Hey so, is Moon Knight #12 going to be here next week?"
"Yes Jerry, we'll put it in your box."
"Okay. On Wednesday?"
"Yes, Jerry."
"Okay. You don't think it'll be delayed?"
"No, Jerry. If it is, we'll email you."
"Okay. I'll check my email."
Pause.
"If I don't get the email and it's late, when do you think it'll be in?"
"I don't know, Jerry. They usually aren't late but we'll let you know if they are."
"Okay."
Longer pause.
"Have you read Moon Knight #11 yet?"

Continue until he leaves.

Like, he's harmless and never a bad customer or anything, and everyone's nice to him because he's likely on the spectrum somewhere or something. But it's really hard not to laugh.
