ngl - running through joker's standard attacks in training mode, i'm not seeing a whole lot of stuff here that would need to be significantly changed to accomodate a longsword beyond slightly increasing the range; a number of his attacks - pummels, all throws, down tilt, up air, forward air - are entirely physical based, while other attacks like forward smash weirdly change his handling of the dagger to be held upwards instead of down, as a sword would be
the only thing i think actually needs changing here is his up tilt, but echoes like ken already show that regular attacks can be changed from the original fighters
i'm more interested in the implementation of the shotgun, but beyond looking slightly goofy due to length, even that seems more a matter of just slowing its rate of fire (maybe 2 shots for gun special), racking up its power at close range and severely reducing it at long range, and giving it something like a close range meteor on the downwards jumping shot
