Okay. First off. I want to highlight how much funnier this post is when you take out what they’re responding to. “I have sinned” “Good to hear”

Second, I actually agree with you there. Like, in terms of objective quality. No they’re not. But in terms of how much fun and entertainment I get out of the two sets of games respectively, absolutely.

I think it really boils down to preference. For example, I’m a big fan of FNAF, because I like it’s story, but not a fan of DDLC, even though I think it conveys horror themes better.

Yeah. DDLC has a weird plot, but there’s not a lot to figure out like in FNaF.

interesting developments on the jane front, courtesy of the folks in the joker thread:

• Dr. HyperCake, the original guy who found her, has both confirmed that her files were scrubbed (rather than it just being hearsay) and that the phantom thieves use their P5 'codenames'
• the 'five fighters' left on the official website can be changed at will and seem designed to accommodate more than five
• PushDustin and Vaanrose noting that if jane's model has a .mchp model, it is very much in a finished/at least mostly finalised state - if scrapped, it would have been scrapped at a stupidly late date close to joker's release and thus doesn't seem to have been something they just played around with for fun or replaced at the last second with school costumes

Here's my thing now that Joker is out and about.

While discovered around Ver. 2.0.0, Jane was discovered in a bunch of code that was supposedly there since Brave was in the code. So about Version 1 of the game. That's enough time to scrap her. Thinking pessimistically, I don't think it was a last second decision to replace Jane . We've also seen no evidence of previously finished Fighter Passes continuing to be supported later down the line so we're grasping at something if we want this to be real.

I had a dream where I was watching a short film in which a woman is kidnapped and turned into a dog by a mad scientist. And she has a vivid hallucinatory experience in which her brain tries to process what’s happened to her.

On the subject of cannabis, it’s as beneficial as it is detrimental..
It’s fantastic for medicinal purposes, such as reducing inflammation (temporary seizure relief, prevents a number of problems such as severe joint swelling, brain damage after accidents), but is also really damaging to undeveloped brains (brains don’t finish developing ‘til you’re twenty five or so). With that in mind, you’ve got all these kiddos using it to get high and killing so many brain cells, which in turn breeds a potentially incapable society...
It’s terrible, but also remarkably useful.
This isn’t coming from personal experience of course, I was just interested in medicinal practices a couple of years ago.

If they did it was on a page I skipped, but I've already seen the ResetERA thread.

Considering it was ResetERA. . .yyyeeeaaaah, there was a pretty strong response.

Seems like there was a lot of back and forth that ended with the Nintendo employee contacted saying "well I'm not the one who took down that stage and I don't approve of what happened, but I also don't have any control so if you want Nintendo to backpedal you should go to their support forums and give them hell there."

Which I mean. . .it's bureaucracy. I certainly can't say it isn't the ideal way to approach it considering the red tape involved, but of course people will just stagnate on forums instead because why go for the jugular when you can just stab someone in the leg fifty times.

And honestly for what it's worth I think misses and misfires aside Nintendo has been doing a far better job clamping down on Stage Builder than one could have expected considering the volume of players. I imagine the paid online account factor has a lot to do with that. I've been reporting what I can, although for whatever reason Nintendo actually set a cap on the number of reports you can submit in a given time frame.

I'm all in for cannabis, but saying it isn't addictive is barmy. It's less bad than tobacco and alcohol, has more medicinal benefits than them, BUT it can be an addiction. Some people operate only on weed.

As for Smash. I'm still banking on E3 reveal with immediate release, followed by another reveal to keep the hype going. They have to sell the fighter's pass and only announcing two characters after 9-10 months of its announcement would be too crazy to me.
