I prefer Playstation to Xbox, but even before Ninty and MS started their heavy flirting, I would've preferred Microsoft characters in Smash to Sony ones. I feel like a lot of Sony's characters are more conducive to a Marvel vs. Capcom kind of crossover, whereas MS's are more conducive to Smash.

I was sitting lonely on the Banjo train before that Spencer tweet, and jumped on the Master Chief train when it was mostly only rode for irony, pre-Ultimate. Cuphead and Gears would also be neat. And ofc other Rare stuff. And then there's Steve.

That said, there are Sony characters that'd be alright in Smash. Jak & Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper. Sackboy would fit. Kat is cool. But those aren't the ones you'd actually see get included.

You know... I'm actually really disappointed Joker doesn't have one of his victory screens be when he wins a battle alone in Persona 5.

Most people online don't even go for edgeguards from what I've seen, unless they are overenthusiastic Captain Falcon/Ganondorf players.
