So here's the things with slopes: When uses Jolt Haymaker (Side Special) on ANY type of slope, the trajectory is altered.

Instead of going in a straight line, he will either gain vertical height upward or downward. One is okay and actually increases his air-time and could snipe a short-hop, but the other is detrimental and makes the move useless. The fact that the stage has many of these slopes in large sizes compared to other stages with slopes (Castle Siege having the biggest one for what's legal for some, otherwise it would be Yoshi's Island).

Yeah, Joker feels like he has a lot of tools but it feels impossible to kill without Arsene and even when I have Arsene, people can camp it out until Arsene leaves (really wish they'd let us choose when to unleash Arsene). Also, the counter gimmick takes some getting used to.

Continuing on, it seems @ShinyLegendary hasn't played as Joker, nor has he played Joker's game. From that it just seems like he's getting lost up in the hype of a new character to me.

By all means people who haven't played Persona 5 are allowed to main Joker. I couldn't care less. But play the character first, get a good feel for them, and then make that decision.
