Got some actual Joker info from that friend I just talked about:

• Recovery game is busted, up special grappling hook doesn't put you in free fall.
• Upgraded up special (Arsene) does put you in free fall, but the invincibility and the insane range more than makeup for it.

It's definitely not as limiting as 4, I can tell you that. It might even be better than Brawl's since you're not restricted to a grid layout
