Trust me. I've known Etika for a long time. Maybe even around a decade. Those reactions were genuine. Etika was just a very passionate dude, very hyper, very weird dude. A personal can be like that without faking anything. He just has some issues he needs to hash out.

I hope that didn't come off as aggressive. I just saw this man genuinely threaten his life (and I care for him a lot) so when I see people question his authenticity, I get a little steamed because I don't want him being remembered for that guy who faked his reactions. I want him to be remembered for the honest, supportive, and genuine person that he was. Etika was one of the only YouTubers out there that was always straight up with his audience...

Nah it’s fine. Wasn’t meant to be a jab at him or his personality, I just don’t know him well enough and I had assumed that he was faking. Never really mentioned it aside from now, though, cause I wasn’t sure.

Either way, I hope things go well for him... I’m not taking this for granted. It is serious.

Yeah I still miss the guy sometimes, but thankfully he has a pretty extensive back categlogue I'm still catching up on.

My Facebook group has been debating who takes over Avatar now. Possible his buddy Simon Franglen, or maybe someone reasonably popular right now like James Newton Howard. After the Cameron-produced Alita, some people fear it's going to be JunkieXL

Hard to know really. I just hope whomever it is keeps the soundscape Horner created!

Me too, because I'm a collector, but I find it funny that Steam is entirely digital and championed to the point that competitors offer discounts and people retaliate loudly, "BUT MY STEAM!!!"

If Game Pass makes an all-digital cheaper Xbox appealing to someone, then good for them. As long as a disc-based version exists and I can fully own my copy of a game to do with as I wish, no skin off my back.

I was thinking maybe Stealth Spider since he turns invisible and he wears black could be okay. The Black Spider sounds really cool. But people would get too uppity about a name like that. Though I think that makes sense like Black Cat and Black Panther. Being an animal themed hero and all that.

Unlike names like Black Lightning and Black Vulcan where the Black prefix has nothing to do with the powers of the character, and just says "Hey he's BLACK!"

I feel a name like Black Spider would be overdone considering the names you mentioned. I know it’s only applicable to the Spiderverse version of Miles but I wish there was some variant of “jumping spider” that could be used as that was his defining moment in that movie in becoming Spider-Man.
