Who and what is Junji Ito? I hear that name being brought up a lot online yet I never really looked into it, It's a person who makes horror manga right?

I'm slightly interested in this cause I've been in the mood for spooky things recently yet Youtube Videos and stuff aren't spooky and horror movies aren't all that creepy either so what are the stories like?
He’s a horror manga artist. Some of his most notable works include Tomie, a series chronicling an immortal girl who drives her stricken admirers to madness; Uzumaki, a three-volume series about a town obsessed with spirals; and Gyo, a two-volume story where fish are controlled by a strain of sentient bacteria called "the death stench."

Estimated days until Patch 3.0.0 and Joker:

Well I'm fine. Just went from 4.0M gsp to 2.9M last night with Lucas. I really hope 3.0.0 improves the online, offline and Online is like apples and oranges.

Junji Ito's work is great at building up suspense and atmosphere for the horror. It doesn't assault you with constant creepiness, I'd highly recommend it.
Fair warning, there's a lot of body horror in his work though, so if you can't handle that I'd say stay away.

I always said that they should do Ninten as a Chrom style echo of Ness and Lucas, do Kumatora as a more of a clone character like Wolf or Dr. Mario, then do Giygas and Masked Man as 100% unique fighters.
I'm of the opinion that Giegue/Giygas should be a Mewtwo echo or semi-clone.

Why is that?
Those two trailers in particular are quite violent. Violent enough to raise the game's age rating to T. After Brawl, Nintendo seems to be quite conservative with Smash's age ratings, with so much censorship in Smash 4.

I guess that makes sense

If one of my most wanted characters makes it in, I hope they will play well, and I don't mean top tier, I mean they're fun to play as.
Because in Brawl I was hyped for Sonic and Metaknight, but after trying them out I got disappointed and came back to Kirby... the same kinda happend with Dedede.

There are hundreds of ways they could ruin Adeleine and I hope they don't. For example, if she plays like Pokèmon Trainer and stays in the background all the time... or if she uses the paintbrush as a sword and plays similar to Toon Link, etc...

So, I see we were talking about Namco reps, huh?

Y'all should already know who I'm vouching for...
Have you considered Yoshimitsu?

I still want an N64 mini.
What if we got a Game Boy mini first?

I'd buy Mario 64, Ocarina, Majora's Mask, and Paper Mario again. Bonus points if it also comes with Kirby 64 and Banjo & Kazooie.
Perhaps Sin & Punishment as well, assuming it has not been forgotten by Nintendo.

Junji Ito's stories are horror manga where the horror doesn't come from some easily defeatable monster chasing the protagonist. The monster is always either some abstract concept that can't even be interacted with, or something so intense and powerful, it can't be defeated.

For example, Hellstar Remina has the main enemy be a giant, living planet that's eating everything in its path on the way to Earth. Uzumaki has the enemy be the very concept of the spiral shape itself, and how it affects the residents of the main town (turning a girl's spiral-shaped scar into a black hole on her forehead, causing a man to twist and contort his body until he breaks enough bones to form his body into the shape of a spiral, etc).
So Junji Ito is a Mangaka who writes horror stories of which the stories are abstract and have a lot of build up? That sounds.. interesting, Are they any good? Cause if they are I might try and read one or two stories.

Fair warning, though. If you're going into Junji Ito's stories expecting some build-up to a well-deserved happy ending... Don't.

99.9% of Ito's stories end in one of two ways.

1) The protagonist survived, but whatever horror was plauging them is still out there, and there's nothing they can do about it
2) The problem of the week managed to accomplish exactly what it wanted, and even the protagonist fell victim to it

There's never really a happy ending, or even much of an ending at all to Ito's stories.

Oh, hell yeah. I love all of his stories. I'd definitely recommend giving them a read.

Yeah, a lot of them kinda just... end. Like I guess he wanted them to be haunting, but it's so sudden sometimes.

-Mario Kart 64
-Yoshi’s Story
-Mario Party

What third parties could also be here?

They're great, pretty much all of them. I'd recommend the Enigma of Amigara Fault as a starter.

That sounds interesting no horror stories or movies I've seen ever ended on a note like that so this will be new and exciting so I'll try it out.

Thanks for the link! I'll definitely read some of it sometime today though I have a question, What's your favorite Junji Ito story and where would you recommend for me to start?

Me, personally? Uzumaki is my favorite of Ito's stories, so give that a read as soon as possible. But I definitely agree with Onereasonanddone's suggestion that you should start with Enigma of Amigara Fault. It's a great intro to the kind of stories Ito tells.

Possibly Banjo-Kazooie, but if Rare Replay is coming to Switch than it might not, and I wouldn't be able to think of anything else.

Tbh I was mixed with the Grinch Leak. Leaning a bit more on the negative side of things.

One hand as an Rhythm Heaven fan, seeing it gain some traction thanks to Chorus Kids, being involved. Even if I knew the leak was likely fake.

One the other though, the leak brought in some nasty people who did nothing but cause trouble by bashing characters like Steve and Incineroar, and mocking anyone who didn't believe the it, and just made the thread feel like a torture chamber...

I always was a Steve fan, but it would be hilarious to have Steve confirmed so that those two can laugh at the Grinch Leak.

The Endgame scene that I saw was so fire, I'm having trouble not saying anything. I'll try to stay strong, because Thanos demands my silence.

On one hand I loved the time cause I wasn't involved with all that drama and it seemed like we were getting Geno, Banjo and Isaac the three biggest requests still left which would've made me die out of hype cause I wanted and still do want all three especially Geno.

But on the other hand looking back at it and looking at how other websites were it had a lot of drama that I'm glad I wasn't apart of, I miss those times but I understand why most don't.
