I’m under the impression it’s an Erdrick cosplay.

It mentions Baramos which is a baddie in DQ3 and mentions the character is the son of Ortega which is the father of Loto aka Erdrick. So yeah, it could be cosplay for Erdrick but also could be something different like a character guide of sorts.

It wouldn't surprise me if its a new product as DQ seems to be expanding its products.

Pretty much just confirms the translation.

I live right next to a pinball/arcade refurbishing facility, and the moment my roommate leaves I'm getting an arcade cabinet put in my house.

Can't decide if I want Tekken Tag Tournament or Street Fighter III 3rd Strike.

After thinking it through I think it’s kinda dumb. The arcade stick design is tacky, there are only 16 games for something that is 200 bucks, and just overall it feels more like a better Capcom Collection for 60 bucks on Xbox/PS4/Switch than something like this. But idk maybe it’ll be really cool and prove me wrong

Looking at first glance, I'm guessing it's because the cabinet is based on the CPS-2 type for which all these games were made. Later games like MvC2 wouldn't run natively unless they built in later cabinet types as well, which ups the price of production.

No excuse for not having MvC1 though. Or Street Fighter Alpha 3. There's a whole host of gems that should be able to run on this machine that they're leaving out.

This thing's actually been in development for a while, now...

It was originally supposed to come out in May of this year, then development troubles happened, and Warner Bros took it completely off the schedule.

Nice to see the film's back on track
