Echoes based on third-party characters already in the game.
third party echoes
obvious echo choices
aaaand that's it
pretty obvious we've been going with either same series or same company comparisons tho

might as well add ms. pac-man to the list

Both being Echo fighters, That's a correlation.
does it make it strong enough

as the maker of rules and establisher of fun, i take this to fun court

Now that I think about it, why hasn’t Ms Pac Man been made an echo at this point?

Change the bonus fruit move to the ones in her game, give them different properties, boom easy echo.

I would not mind Erdrick in Smash, as I would be happy for Japan.
I should drop the whole "guaranteed" thing.
What you should drop is talking about Erdrick in general. You bring him up out of nowhere at random times, then act surprised when people start grilling you about it. Every time you're asked to give your reasoning, you give some wishy-washy, non-committal answer to avoid having to actually argue your point.

I'm convinced the only reason you keep saying "Erdrick isn't happening" is because you want to be seen as that "cool dude who goes against the flow", with no other motive.

You're back to that "guaranteed" bull again?

Didn't we already establish that no one here actually says he's "guaranteed" and you're making a Strawman?

Just admit at this point that you're personally bothered by the idea of Erdrick, Shiny. This constant need to talk down about him is pretty telling.
Don't get me wrong, Shiny constantly talking about it can be really annoying...

But let's not act like there aren't some people here that believe that Erdrick is guaranteed.

I mean... there are multiple people here that are confident enough in his chances that they bet their entire accounts.

That is not true, I promise.

I will drop the argument, though.

Which is pretty much why I don't bust Shiny's balls over Erdrick. It's a competition, not a Supreme Court case. I totally believe Erdrick is in and Shiny can believe vice versa because of whatever reason. The fun is seeing who's right in the end.

Might be because either her original game never released in Japan or that she was created by Midway than Namco.

Personally, I’m in the “they’re either in or they’re not” camp.

All this talk about chances doesn’t change the fact that someone with “literally no chance” could wind up playable while the character everyone thinks is “guaranteed” is not playable.

So all characters have 50/50 odds. Either they are playable or they miss the boat.

I dont feel he's guaranteed. Just likely.

I did the bet for fun, kinda nice to spice things here :b

Being confident in something happening doesn't necessarily translate into claiming something is an absolute guarantee.

I mean she also didn’t appear as a spirit either.
So do a ton of other characters who appear in game though (granted most are Nintendo owned with the only third party omissions being those woodland creatures on Windy Hill and the Midgar summons... but the later is another can o worms).

Neutral Special-Thunder Fang
Side Special-Spark
Up Special-Volt Switch
Down Special-Discharge
Final Smash-Wild Charge
Thunder Fang works sort of like ZSS's DSmash, where Luxray charges a bite and it'll deal damage while stunning the opponent in place.
Spark works sort of like Fox's Illusion, where he'll quickly dash forward while damaging opponents, though Luxray's is significantly shorter and it doesn't carry momentum when used in midair.
Volt Switch has Luxray throw a circular projectile in any direction before teleporting to the projectile's location. While the projectile itself has a hitbox, Luxray itself does not. It could be useful as a combo starter onstage as well.
Discharge has Luxray release a dome of electricity around it. Anything caught in it will be constantly dealt electric damage before being launched away. This move is weak and small at first, but Luxray can build electricity and make it much stronger by using its other special moves and normals with electric properties. Though doing that will release all the power built up until now so you can't just use it whenever.

I swear that I'm the only guy who was actually rooting for Mimikyu.
Nah, there was a Mimikyu super-fan during the speculation cycle. I forget their name, but they got super heated over Mimikyu and by extension Pokemon reps in general. Pretty much stopped posting it seems after the Inceniroar reveal and Mimikyu Pokeball disconfirm I think.
