If noipoi went into a small black hole, he'd be spaghettified. If he went into a gigantic one, an alternate universe noipoi could very well exist. Or he could just hit a firewall and be instantly incinerated.

I too remember when blocking people online allowed the allied powers to win both world wars.
Guess that's why people call me the fat man.

If black holes are such a threat why don't we just plug them up?

Yeah I've always been fascinated by black holes and have seen lots of cool fan art, now seeing an actual black hole photo happen is really awesome.
It’s definitely cool they finally got an image; I’ve read so many books on theoretical physics and black hole chapters are always one of the best.

But it reminds me of every picture of Bigfoot.....too blurry. 6/10

Flex seal vs. a black hole

At long last, we can see what would happen if you pit an immovable object vs. an unstoppable force.

If everyone had blocked Hitler from the start, WWII wouldn't have happened but some idiots had to say "we need to debate with him"
You got it from what now?
*googles*
Huh, how did I not know about this place before today? This is very useful indeed. :p
Wait... it wasn't you who recommended me it? Then... who told me about it? Uhm...

Anyways, just be wary of the porn but it's pretty good for art outside of that
This is still my favorite Protector art I found in there
speaking of imagebooru's did you know that it took ~2 weeks for 101 Dalmatian Street to get one
I really wish I didn't know tbh
What I find interesting is the effect the black hole has on stuff around it. The zoomed in image has been the one circling around, but here’s the zoomed out image, it’s crazy that the black hole has an effect on that large of a scale.View attachment 207158
It's so wild to me that I'm alive to see such a thing. I may not live to the day we manage to do interstellar travel but maybe I'll wake up one day and NASA will tell me they found aliens or some **** and that's pretty exciting.

These scientists pour their life work into getting this picture, with literal petabytes of information processed to obtain it, and you "rate" the photo?

Like of course it's going to be blurry and not be ****ing interstellar quality. It's an invisible object millions upon millions of lightyears away that has never been pictured before. And unlike Bigfoot, we aimed the most state of the art telescopes right at this super far away object. The importance of this photo can't be understated. We proved once and for all that these black holes exist. It's the first step in what will be fruitful research for decades, likely centuries. Don't downplay its importance because the photo "reminds you of every Bigfoot picture."

Real men just parry other accounts.
I go beyond human capabilities as I had the courage to parry DORIYAAAAH and I goddamn did it too
btw Flyboy Flyboy what's your opinion on Rider Time: Ryuki? I like the concept and the confirmation that Raia and Gai are canonically gay is interesting as it offers a new perspective on Raia's backstory. Also Abyss is canon now I guess and you can literally see the suits fall apart so that made me cryyyyyyyyy

When I was a a kid I read something about a black hole swallowing earth, thought it was real, and promptly freaked the **** out.
After reading everything that can kill us instantly, I just accepted it as most likely we will all die before noticing anything.

...I do now.

I hang around reddit too much, where I'm sure some people would unironically post those sorts of things.
I understand. Lol. No worries.

I think it is truly f’ing amazing. Probably the best scientific news I’ve heard all year.
