I would prefer for Erdrick to get in and bring other Square Music with him from stuff like SMRPG, KH and Chrono Trigger to DQ Itself.

I'm not a fan of the Classical music DQ brings and so I would prefer if he brought other Square music with him too.

Even though I joined the bet, and I am confident in his chances, I can't remember what Erdrick has going for him. I remember a 4chan leak that mentioned him and Joker, and Tansut's post, but that's about it.

That's Gundam Build Fighters Try, the series practically is a Gunpla (model kit) commercial (an explicit one) as the series features combat between Gunpla with strange particles instead of giant robots. The main character and Gunpla is based on the series of G Gundam which is pretty much the most over the top series in the franchise.
