Though Wario I understand...

On /v/, there's this running gag that all the villain characters (and Wario) make contrarian statements because it's evil. Some examples I've seen include:
-In the McDonald's personality triangle, they're the sort who go to the drive-thru, order a coffee...then leave without saying anything
-In the "Bayonetta is Joker's mom (or lover)" tier-list (can't find it anywhere on /v/ now), characters are placed based on whether they feel she is his mom or a romantic partner. The bad guys all have a hilariously-wrong "Why not both?" response

Let's not talk about all the adaptational inaccuracies in Alaaddin, I need to get out in four hours.

The main differences I remember are:
-That there are two genies, one from a ring and the other from the lamp (ring genie is kinda weak)
-Its in China I think?
-Aladdin defeats the equivalent of Jafar by tricking him and stealing the lamp

I watched an adaptation of the 1001 nights, so dunno how accurate it is.

No. At worst, some of my characters have supporters evoking the CHADitude, with some ****posting here and there, but nothing to the level of "Insert-character-here deserves to be in Smash because they've been requested heavily/are the only fan-requests missing/Sakurai likes them, etc.", alongside the victim baggage that comes with it.

In the movie Copper and Tod are close friends torn apart by circumstances, in the book most of Copper's entire life is spent trying to hunt and kill Tod.

I think a few fanbases have it to some degree, the perception of a character differs pretty much if you're no part of their fanbase and some see their characters as deserving even going by stretches. This is somewhat fueled by them seeing anti-fans ****ting on them which makes them grow with the desire of feeling superior when their pick is revealed.

"Punished Scott" isn't just a whole thing about being a part of the SmashBoards lore, it's a way of life. It's hard to keep up this form, and I had to break free. While yes, you can see the heartbreak in people like Etika, RogersBase, ZeRo during that November Direct... It would only be a simple fraction of the heartbreak that I took. The wars that we shared just to push our fellow salvager... For what? All those months, all this time, and only just for the fellow man to be skinned?

You wouldn't believe how much whiplash it gave me. I finally realized what it meant to lose something that you loved with all your heart, pushed and nurtured like a proud father. People around this thread might not like their origins, and yeah, they look rather weird.

But no one in this goddamn thread loved Rex & Pyra more than I do.

I was broken. I changed man. When I was around all the moments when we all saw the info brokers fall, leaving only Spawn and Panda in that lonely island we saw that night, with DaybreakHorizon howling with joy at the sight of the Calling Card, I could only feel happiness for others. Yet... Not for myself. I lost that long ago.

Now? I have a regained hope. Something awoke inside me again, when we all made pacts. I couldn't help but to 1-up everyone. My gimmick, my persona, my soul and ****ing being. That bet turned me from "Punished Scott" to "Reformed Scott". You can't lie on the past forever. You gotta get back up and throw one last punch, even if it means winning or losing it all. That's why I did it. For the good of others, for the people who wanted Banjo & Kazooie for 20 years... and for me.
