Just out of curiosity, is there any love for Lucas in this thread? He's pretty good in this game to me, but he has to be one of the least talked about characters of all time.

I mained him for a time in Smash 4. He’s lots of fun, and I still go back to him sometimes. Also PK Freeze is the most annoying edgeguarding move in the game.

Just out of curiosity, is there any love for Lucas in this thread? He's pretty good in this game to me, but he has to be one of the least talked about characters of all time.

I've been wanting to get into using Lucas maybe as a Secondary or Main since I love Mother 3 with it being a contender for my favorite game of all time.

I just haven't been practicing with him frequently, I would love to use him though.

I prefer Lucas over Ness because I feel like with Ness, it's always PK Fire -> down throw -> fair -> fair. With Lucas, a lot of his moves lead into combos.

I haven't ever blocked anyone. On a personal level, I can deal with anything anyone can throw out there. On a mod/admin level, I feel like I need to see everything. My block button has an inch of dust on it.

My main usage for PK Freeze is to be a scare tactic. When people see it coming, it throws off what they were about to do because now they are trying to dodge what could be their death sentence. If it happens to land, then that's an added bonus. But I do agree, it's pretty unfair in certain situations.
