What if.....

Imagine this scenario. You go back in time and give Sakurai a finished launch build of Ultimate 3 years early. What do you think he will add to the game now with all this extra time?

I can easily see characters like Shadow, Waluigi, Spring Man, Isaac, Krystal, Rex, and Shovel Knight making it at this point.

Probably some more new and returning stages too. A stage based off of Sun and Moon maybe? Maybe we finally get a Gyromite stage? Tetris? Mario Party?

Rex, someone from ARMS, Octoling, maybe Euden or someone from Dragalia Lost. Maybe Shantae, Elma, Bandana Dee, Neku pls and some others, assuming any of these 4 don't become DLC later on (the latter 4, not the former 4)

Like around the time of Isabelle's reveal, I believe.

Which is why it's fake because DLC apparently wasn't being worked on yet at that time.

I don't recall seeing that tho. I think we were seeing the Ken leak instead?

It is but it’s on indefinite hold. Sense GL is Johns’s baby he probably wants to make sure it’s perfect at every phase.

iirc it just sort of sprung up on 4chan to very little fanfare then faded away

tho it's probably not real because of erdrick, it's a completely new model and seems to be a blend of BD's chibi style (mostly the eyes) and more realistic CG cutscene style

Too bad Henry Cahill, Ben Afflek, Will Smith, and Ezra Miller were all most likely casualties of that failed era.

Ngl, that scenario would make happier than you can imagine. I honestly don’t give a **** about the majority of possible Square reps, but Bandana Waddle Dee would make me so happy.

While I wouldn’t be opposed to Brave being Bandana Dee, what stage and music would he come with...? Remember that the Challenger Pack for the first 5 DLC fighters includes a stage and music with each fighter

I’m thusly still hopping on Bravely Gang for this one esp since the newer Agnès leak with the correct accent has yet to be debunked

Also, mizumi_ was the one who originally leaked Jack and Brave right? With the recent revelations against him it kinda makes me...doubt his credibility now to say the least

Pretty much anything from Modern Kirby can be added. We have zero modern Kirby stages and only about 8 tracks from Return to Dream Land and later.

I think there’s enough content left to warrant a fighter pack. Only question is whether or not it’ll happen.

I personally feel like Joaquin Phoenix's Joker movie has potential to be great, and so far I enjoyed the trailer a lot.

It released the same day as the trailer for the animated Dragon Quest V movie and I've loved the two so much that I enjoy seeing them again at some moments of the day.

Shambles? It just got back it’s concrete release date. If anything it’s back on it’s feet now.

I can’t wait for Comic Con because I want DC to reveal their next decade of films the way marvel did with Phase 3. We NEED concrete info!

i grew up with dc comics characters, and seeing a marvel-tier cinematic universe with them would be pretty damn hype

Only Cavill will be missed...he was perfect looking for Superman and only just started to truly be able to act like him near the end of Justice League

Tbf a common criticism of Will Smith is that he plays the same character in about every movie he's in

It's not locked down, it's when they expect it to release if things don't mess up any further.

I'd be ok with Erdrick being the new Square rep, but I'm not all that familiar with DQ so I don't have a lot of attachment to the character, tho I am playing DQ8 on my phone. Same with Geno, I didn't grow up playing SMRPG. Sephiroth would be cool I guess, but if we didn't get any new FFVII music in base, I doubt we'll get more music as DLC let alone an additional stage from the exact same FF. With Sonic, there's two stages from two different Sonic games.

Neku would be a dream tho, cause I LOVED TWEWY and I literally wanted him since the Brawl days ok. Someone from Bravely Default would also make me super excited, especially to hear "That Person's Name Is" in a battle

If Joker turns up to be as good as it promises to be, I wouldn't mind to see DC stopping the concept of a shared universe for a time while making separated productions, as long as the quality improves.

internal dysfuntion most likely

executives want it out by a certain time but the people who are actually making the movie aren't even ready to start filming yet, but executives are set on it and therefore released that date publicly

effective communication between higher-ups and the actual devs is something the dceu is sorely lacking in

I would. I waited for years for DC to do a cinematic universe. I want this project salvaged. I want continuity. I want all the characters to exist in the same world. I want all that.

I honestly am boycotting Joker. It is the exact opposite direction I want to see dc go in. I want a connected universe and I don’t want Movies about villains.
