If I may interject, I do use C-tilts for Yoshi. Executing up tilts quickly is often very useful for him.

I really don't get why people use c tilts for up and down titlt. I think those are pretty easy to pull off out of a dash or just standing.

I'm starting to hate Arenas almost as much as Quick Plays:
-Anytime I enter one, I either get booted immediately, or after the moment they see who I'm using. If it's an arena reserved for friends, lock the damn room.
-People don't know how to do proper team battles. If it isn't just a fun chaotic romp, it's vanilla rules with no team attack. Worst of both worlds right there.
-Speaking of team battles, I get people ganging up on me more often than not. It's fine every once in a while against inexperienced players, but most of it comes off as a passive-aggressive response. For this, I mean 3vs1 shenanigans, not 2 players teaming up in a 2v2 match. That's a different monster altogether.

Yeah well I'm not exactly very practiced at actually using the c-stick for tilts. I try, but muscle memory from every other game keeps me at the regular control stick.

Anytime I try to c-stick up, I get a jump instead. In fact, tilts are mostly unresponsive when I use them. They were much easier to pull off in Sm4sh. It's to the point where I can't turn around in a dash without getting a smash instead. The only saving grace is that I sometimes get away with Ike's side smash because I don't try for the turn-around side-tilt as often.

Very few arenas have decent players (from a sportsmanship standpoint). The best doubles arena I entered was one with a competent Shulk and Cloud. I partnered up with a good Dark Pit player and all of our matches were very close. We won some, we lost some. They were extremely-hype games too. Damn it, I wish more arenas were like that one...

It's mostly muscle memory, which is ironic because I play the classic Mega Man games as well as the X games with a jump button. Something about Smash's physics feels different that I can't adjust as well with it, though there was a point where I had to condition myself to use buttons for jumps. It....somewhat helped, because not only was a screwed-up left joy-con bad news for jumps, it also meant unresponsive up-b's >_>;

Because I sure do.

Those cards are the reason why if I ever summon, I only do it on the Dragon or Gala banners. There's nothing more demoralizing then seeing the 5 star animation and getting a print.

You could easily get rid of Regigigas. The whole "large normal type" thing is already done by Snorlax, and Melmetal and Golurk are similar bulky bois. Besides, no one really cares for Regigigas given his obscurity and uselessness (Slow Start is a terrible ability and I get it was to balance him, but when we've got **** like Mega Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma, and Zygarde Complete running around there's no reason to handicap him).

I guess to rephrase: How did they make the event stand out from Granblue's typical fare? Did they do anything new for it? Or was it just a reskinned version of the usual event?

Also, was Joker free or Gacha? I've heard of it going either way depending on which game you're talking about (P&D for instance is Gacha), so I'm curious how they usually give out those type of characters.
