How many here think that Sakurai should scarp the DLC garabge (The Fighter pass consisting of Steve, Piranah Plant, A Medieval Goku Cosplayer From Dragon Quest, and The Joker) and just leave the game alone (Knowing how much of a colossal garbage fire Ultimate is) before the crappy DLC is released!

Ah yes, the main character of the second-best selling game of all time getting in would be terrible. He has yet to prove himself.

IMO I honestly thought it was a fast-paced entertaining popcorn monster romp that didn't drag on or overstay its welcome. I think the hate stems from all the butthurt of everyone's King being killed.

Personally, I found the script, soundtrack, plot and acting to be sub-par.
It was a movie with potential which wasn’t properly realised.
I respect that you can see through the salt, though.

The one thing I don't like about Disney nowadays as well as Pixar is all they're doing now is keep recycling the same formulas for their movies and inserting it with their characters especially the typical twist villain which had been happening since Toy Story 3 with Lotso.

Oh and I also can't stand the damn pre-climax argument because we know how its gonna end. They'll see the error of their ways come back to each other and apologize. So dramatic and tense are they ever gonna get back together hurr.

Every type of media is going through this problem nowadays. Movies, video-games, books, etc. Creators are getting more uncreative with each passing day and overusing old tropes to the point that they've become too easy to see coming and are starting to feel boring. People need to get out of their comfort zone and start experimenting again. Otherwise we'll be forever locked in this endless cycle of repetition.

In all honestly after the first Jurassic Park. This is my favorite one followed by Fallen Kingdom, World and The Lost World.

The original Jurassic Park changed my life as a kid; it's one of the reasons I went to school for film/video production.

It's kinda weird, but my favorites pretty much go in the order that they came out in. I still haven't seen Fallen Kingdom yet, so I can't judge it. I like them all though for different reasons. The Lost World's definitely my second favorite, but it definitely could've used some more time in the editing bay.

How about some underrated movies?

Assuming we mentioned Dreamworks earlier, I feel like this would be a good time to shill one of their more underrated films.

Megamind was about a supervillain who actually manged to defeat the hero. After a while, he feels like his villain role has no purpose, as the hero is gone, so he decides to create a new superhero to serve as his arch nemesis. Unfortunately, his plan backfires

Yes, it has a lot of the typical Dreamworks movie tropes, like pop culture references and lots of 80's songs playing throughout the movie, but this time for some reason, they're actually pretty tolerable... The story and characters are so well done, and it's actually a very fun movie.

Unfortunately it came out in 2010... The same exact year as Despicable Me. So it got massively overshadowed. And it's quite a shame, because I'd argue that it's even better.

It might be my childhood clouding me, but still, when you have the chance, please check this movie out.

I mean I don't think you can really fault King Candy and Ernesto specifically, as both Wreck-It Ralph and Coco are built around those twists. The whole concept of "going Turbo" and why it's wrong is a central theme in Wreck-It Ralph, and having the villain be Turbo himself worked well within that idea. With Coco, the entire theme is Remembrance, so having a twist about how someone lied, cheated, and stole in order to gain effective afterlife-immortality once again works well within that.

Yeah, in a lot of other movies the "twist villain" is phoned in as hell. Big Hero 6's felt like a Scooby-Doo reveal, in particular and was easily the low point of the film. But I think Wreck-It Ralph and Coco did it well.

John, it’s highly likely that Sakurai wouldn’t have created any unique characters in the echoes’ places.
He didn’t have the time, energy or resources to create more completely unique fighters, but still wanted to give us more.
The echoes changed nothing, your argument is invalid.
