Shantae is pretty big for what she is. She's consistently a successful indie mascot and has more games over something like Shovel Knight. Plus Pirate's Curse is a great time.

I'm sure the smash speculation and spirit helped a bunch too.

It's cool seeing a loveable franchise get bigger. they started really small on gameboy

Small and dead.

Until she was revived and suddenly gained the eyes (and patrons) of many new fans with quality titles. I hear Half Genie Hero is more of a platformer than the Metroidvania that is Pirate's Curse, so I'm hoping they go back to Pirate's Curse structure so I can really keep liking the franchise. Crazy how Wayforward turned themselves around.

Cindy takes a sickle from inside the cornucopia.

Dorothy dies early and so does one member of Daft Punk. Dam Son and Riptor also team up, but both perish trying the team of Mr. Compress and ShinyLegendary.

Now THIS is what a bloodbath should be. (I hate that Manuel is dead already, though.)

I'm currently nearing the Battle at Fort Menedy but there's an issue...there are three different people claimed to be responsible for the death of King Cornelius and the canon is vague at best. I'm probably just gonna go with the three way combination of Jiol betrayed and set up Cornelius but didn't kill him, Camus and the Sable Order routed his men save for him and Cain, and Gharnef landed the killing blow on Cornelius and stole Falchion.

That way it's more or less compliant with all three answers for "Who Killed Cornelius" and no one can say otherwise. :p

Oh that’s a nice one! I actually had one idea that is based on an obscure fanfic “Hunted” where, prior the the events of Fates, Elise is sent to execution by Garon due to playing around instead of doing her duty, which leads her to run out of the country, and is founded by the Hoshido royal family. The concept is something I like, but the execution is kind of ehhh. It’s pacing is too quick, and it feels a bit bland.

In my version of it, instead of Elise being founded by Hoshido, a young boy, who is not from Nohr or Hoshido, came along without knowing the context to her execution, just for trying to help, and he and Elise have to survive the outside world while having almost no money, or supplies. It’s unforgiving, it’s nasty at times, and at one point they have to go underground to find some sort odd place that is unlike any of what they seen.
Kind of inspired by RE 2.
