I mean, companies change. Bad press is never good so seeing a restructuring of Konami finally coming to fruition 4 years later wouldn't be that surprising.
This is just pertaining to Smash I assume, because Sonic actually can shoot projectiles:

I see where you’re coming from but I consider it nothing short of a miracle for an orwellian dystopia of a company like Konami to even have a hint of restructuring. All I really expect from Konami is new pachinko machines and tales of employee mistreatment

What can I say. I'm optimistic. Especially for a company that's had a lot of my childhood at it's grasp. Same thing happened with Capcom and Nintendo for me so I'm praying they make a change.
