Okay, but he's 99.99% in.

All credible leakers are advocating for him, the 5chan leak with him and Joker only seems to be more true the more we know, and the reasoning behind the 5chan leak makes sense among other factors for his inclusion.

As I've said about Erdrick time and time again, it just makes sense, at least for me. The facts surrounding Dragon Quest just click together in this natural way that completely justifies his inclusion.

Like, we knew about Shulk coming from a mile away, but people were still hyped for him. Same with Simon and Ridley.

Honestly as someone who has always wanted Dragon Quest to be represented in smash I kind of agree. I would have love to have been surprised, but considering how.... how do I put this.... controversial he seems to be at the moment kind of makes me wish he weren't leaked.
That said though I'm still quite happy and would be surprised at this point if it ended up being fake.
