I'm not even going to try to explain why this is incorrect.
No. Seriously. Explain. I want my children to be enriched by the entertainment they watch, not corrupted. Kids these day know two things "Screaming and farting is funny" and "everyday violence is normal". I want my kids to be better than that.

Forcing and ruining? Your destruction? Their people?

Sorry, but you're not really making a logical argument. Is there a reason to be so heated just because games you dislike exist? It's just games we are talking about.
Because I'm sick of otherwise perfectly good action and fighting games being, in my opinion, ruined by including elements like grinding and strategy and turns and leveling up. I just want to get into the zone and beat people up and show off because I'm super powerful. This is who I am. This is what I like when I play games. And RPGs are out to ruin that by forcing their elements in where they don't belong.

I find this statement kinda ironic coming from someone who's "Anyone is Here" banner has mostly JRPG protagonists.

So by sticking to this statement, you're essentially going against 2 of your wanted characters (3 if Joker counts as well) getting into another genre of game, in this case a fighting game, b/c they are from JRPGs.
Again, those are my PREDICTIONS. Now who I actully want. Well, Banjo and Crash I legit want, but I would change out Erdrick and Yuri if I didn't think they were likley.

Yeah, there isn't much a very creative person can do in Minecraft.

Nope. There's no room for creativity in that game. None at all.
Dude, those are just statues and structures of pre-existing things. That's not creativity. That's not something new. It's just regurgitation. Incredibly detailed regurgitation that probably took hours and hours to do. But it's not creative.

If that's not creativity by your definition,

then what on Earth is?

Creation of something new. Either by putting existing pieces together into new configurations or creating new puzzle pieces to put together in all kinds of ways.
People literally made working computers in Minecraft.

People do create original structures in the game. Obviously they don't find a way to ascend the fifth dimension but your definition of creative is far too strict

On the topic of creativity:

The problem with creativity is that we're at a point now where there is nothing new under the sun. No matter how unique you think your idea is, someone, somewhere in history, probably already had the same idea.

It's all about execution and whether or not you like something. "Unique" doesn't always mean better, and is usually just an excuse used to write something off completely without giving it or its merits any chance.

That's more along the lines of originality than creativity.

You can be creative while getting some inspiration from other things.

Children at the age of 4 and such haven't had much time to really understand that that stuff isn't funny. Besides, when I see kids those ages they don't scream and fart everywhere. And I don't think Children are under the impression that "violence is normal." I could use this logic to say Bambi is horrible and poisons children's minds. And even then, there is nothing wrong with a bit of slapstick humor.

No video game is not limiting to a creative. I'd rather draw, or write, or sculpt, or imagine, or actually make my own movie or game.
Some people enjoy having limitations, as can force them to be creative to work around said limitations. It's can be a good exercise.

Now most artists won't want to use Minecraft as their primary art medium, obviously, but it is still a game and doesn't need to be taken that seriously. Lighten up.

I think your issue then, should be with RPG elements being shoved in games where they don't work or belong, rather then RPGs as a whole.

So... the Battle Royale genre? Because a lot of people would say that the pioneers of that was the Battle Royale movie, Shrek, the Hunger Games, and Minecraft. Minecraft gets extra credit for being the one that pioneered that to a game genre.

Yiu underestimate creativity. Have people thought of making phones that can literally bend and are two hundred times stronger than steel?
Probably. R&D for tech companies experiment with new ideas all the time in an attempt to find "the next thing" so their new product will have a hook to interest consumers in their newest project.

Just 'cause we don't hear about it doesn't mean it didn't happen. There isn't a way to know for sure.

EDIT: Nevermind, seems I misunderstood, lol.

Yeah, when people actually want to build something entirely new, there isn't much you can do.

And it's not like you can possibly use pre-existing material in a creative new way, either.
