It's 2020, a year since the last mainline Pokemon game and 6 years since the Gen 3 remake. Fans are getting angsty, children who played Gen 4 have grown into adults have money to spend to sate their nostalgia. Nintendo makes an announcement of Game Freak's announcement to make an announcement, as per usual in the gaming industry. Just a couple of days later on a live stream...: "Our next non-spinoff will be something you'll all be excited for, Pokemon Forged Sword and Forged Shield!"

Real talk though, Sinnoh remakes have to be next, right? Are they really going to do "reboot" the remake pattern and make Let's Go versions of Johto and Hoenn first?

I think I get it though I may have to mull it over for a bit, I’m sure we can brainstorm more stuff if you want, what do you think could be done with the boulder? I need that boulder.

Also listening to the Mappy Medley has made me brainstorm ideas for him too.

I shouldn't have to look at current fighters to get ideas, but doesn't Villager's F-smash act like a vertical projectile?

I can describe the scene if you want.

Basically the gist is that the townspeople are accusing a woman of being a witch (though they've dressed her up like one).

"She turned me into a Newt!... ...I got better."

The Knight, Bedivere, "logics" that, if a Witch burns, she must be made of Wood, and since Wood floats, she must weigh the same as a Duck (because ducks float). They weigh her and it turns out that she does, in fact, weigh the same as a Duck.

The Witch shrugs and says "It's a fair cop." (This is British slang for admittance of guilt).

One more thing about pokemon sword and shield. I'm really surprised by how much fan art there already is. It's more than ive ever seen of a new announcement.
