Yeah, my fear is that it'll be dead silent until the expo, but considering that's happening in May, I would certainly hope the game didn't get delayed again.
I will defend Awakening and Shadow Dragon until my dying breath, dammit.
Actually, I speak within the context of original ideas, not fan ones. There are pockets of time in my childhood where I would make something up entirely, with the occasional DBZ copy-cat character here and there. Hence why I still draw OCs, but full-on OCs as opposed to the fanon-tier stuff I used to do as a kid.
And with Brave getting talked about to this day, it's fair to assume he's our "Gohan" with unlimited potential. If Erdrick ends up being a ruse, will he be the "Gohan Blanco" of Smash discussions?

Awakening is generally accepted into the fandom at least from the fact that it single-handedly saved Fire Emblem from death and made it a household name for Nintendo and despite being unbalanced, people generally like the game as a whole, but they aren't afraid to criticize the game (Awakening is one of my favorite games of all time).

Super Saiyan 4 is cool and the best thing to come out of GT besides the music.

I dunno it's some dumb character creator yet somehow we're doing God's work with it.
At this point I'm really hoping they do what they did for Awakening and put out a free demo. That's what got me into the series.

Baby is a great villain. The theme of paying for past sins that stays present through the Baby, Super 17 and Shadow Dragon arcs is awesome. SS4 Gogeta is the best-looking fusion they've made. And you know what? I like Pan.
It's not as good as Z or OG, but little is. I don't hold that against it.
They might very well consider FEH their marketing.
FEH is currently on fire with almost every new banner being stuffed with powercreep and another alt for Camilla. Three Houses promotion won't go down too well.
