I've grown to the point where I much prefer creating the characters by hand rather than rely on apps for it, since they tend to be rather limited. Doesn't help that a majority of 'em have a lot of mainstream assets and stock tropes like "spiky hair with goggles".

Literally, this is the extent of what we know:
- We have a map of the continent where it takes place, Fódlan.
- We know the main characters from the titular three houses are Edelgard, Claude, and Dimitri. Dimitri uses a lance, Claude uses a bow, and Edelgard uses axes and swords. We know Edelgard is of the Aristocrat class, which is new. Based on her stats we saw she's very likely a prepromote unit, likely the game's Jagen.
- We know that Byleth is, in fact, an Avatar, and a teacher at this academy. Byleth uses a sword and may or may not be the true main lord. Depends on whether or not the trio is more like Lyn, Hector, and Eliwood, or more like Ryoma and Xander. Edelgard likely being a prepromote points to the latter.
- We know Combat Arts are returning.
- Shadows of Valentia/Gaiden's magic system may have been brought back.
- What looks to be one of the baddies has a whip sword.
- It looks like there may be some unique battle skills beyond normal Combat Arts, going by Dimitri leading a charge in the trailer. May be similar to previous games' Triangle Attack.
- A manakete-like character who looks an awful lot like Tiki is seen at the end.
- The Crests are to blame, and are very likely Fódlan's version of the Fire Emblem.
- Mercedes and Hilda are characters. That's literally all we know about them, other than the fact that Hilda shares her name with a character from Genealogy of the Holy War.

That's quite the comparison, and kinda inaccurate. I mean, yeah the quality might be all over the place but it doesn't quite have the same highs and definitely not the same lows. Don't write off how insanely quality shifting the sonic series is, no other series has ever touched that level of inconsistency.

Was it ever confirmed what Brave's height even was? Last I recall they had speed, weight stats, and things of that nature but height would be directly tied to the hitbox data and I don't think we have any of that.

I mean more power to you for keeping the dream alive but you can kinda maneuver your way around to make just about any character fit the description of Brave.

I used to shade my drawings back then, but now I ink them for coloring. Problem is that I do everything on a budget and I'm OCD with dust particles and smudges, so I take foreverrrrr just trying to clean line-art.

I certainly hope that isn't the case. At the very least I don't think it will be. Fates' whole thing was "choose a side," but the press releases for Three Houses seem to imply all three main characters, each from different houses, play a big part in the story. So I don't think there will be a split like that again.

From the official Three Houses page on Nintendo's website:

"Your protagonist meets three main characters – Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude – who play important roles in the story"

The way that's phrased, assuming it's not just poorly phrased, makes it sound like a Xander/Ryoma situation more than Hector/Eliwood.

Also didn't they announce a Fire Emblem extravaganza in May? We may have to wait until then to get real news.
