what if the characters are children or non-anthro animals
That's gross, yes.

But should a company take out the time to say 'Hey stop that!'

No, that's unrealistic, you can't just police what people do or what they choose to commission.

SM64 is one of my favorite games to watch being broken.
Like, I've played it a dozen times but speedruns of it never stop being both hilarious and fascinating to me.

One of these days I'll probably give it a shot too. I wanna start speedrunning things... Hahaha
I feel the same way about SM64, Metroid Prime, and Kirby games. I would totally learn one of them if I had the time but alas, I play too many games to ever just sit down with only one for that long.

And if you like Mario 64 glitches, you should see what Wind Waker players do. WW's Super Swim glitch will never not get a chuckle out of me, lol.

Which stops what?

That sets up where you stand on it, sure. And that's good.

Does it stop people from asking for it and or paying for it to be drawn, no.

As a small developer are you actively going to turn down money if via proxy money came your way in the form of purchases from seedy folks seeing lewd parodies of your work. Probably not.

Wind Waker has ridiculous speedrunning techniques.
This one is my personal favorite.

I mean it would let people know that I don't endorse the porn being made of my child characters. It's also good PR.

And yeah if I had the opportunity to turn down money from people who are only buying my game because they saw CP I would totally do so

Wait. Hold up.

Cuphead is coming to Switch, too?

...Son of a *****, that one fake Direct leak actually won.

...I'm sorry, what.png

Reggie will leave April 15, that's also a good date for one last Nintendo Direct with Reggie... and if that happens, I hope Reggie says farewell giving us Mother 3 and ending with the meme once for all.
I was thinking the same thing as well.

What about Super Mario 3d Land? That wasn't new, wasn't groundbreaking, and ended under an hour in.
Considering that the current world record speedrun for SM3DL is 54 minutes long, I have my doubts that you beat the entire game "an hour in".

I think 3D Land is a very faithful translation of 2D Mario gameplay into 3D, something which the previous 3D Mario games didn't do, because of their design. So it was new in that regard.

I have strong nostalgic attachment to Sunshine, but I won't pretend that there weren't numerous levels in that game that were straight up bad. I don't mean 'this is too difficult', but more like 'what the **** were the developers thinking'. Special (dis)honours go to the watermelon festival, that ****ing poison river level and blue coins. Not just a blue coin, but the entire way they were implemented.

I'm not sure what my favourite 3D mario title is. But I really liked the direction they took with Odyssey in most respects. The game's not perfect, but I thought it felt really fresh. I remember seeing a few reviewers and commentators saying it was generic and I'm like what the ****, how many Mario games would you start off in Tim Burton's Hat Land, fight a realistic looking dragon and track down Bowser in his big ol weeb castle. Plus the fact that almost every new Kingdom had a new race and not just toadstoadstoads (take note Paper Mario) was really refreshing.

Something that sorta bugged me about Odyssey is that all the worlds that I thought were the most interesting, like the Ruined kingdom and the Cloud kingdom were pretty much just one-off challenges. These types of locations aren’t really explored much in Mario, mainly the former, so I would have loved to see fuller worlds for them.

Super Mario 3D Land and World are great games. I would love to see both make it over to the Switch, honestly.

Damn, now I wanna go to the local retro game store to pick up a copy of Sunshine so I can learn how to speedrun it.

The realistic dragon was the most unexpected thing to happen in a Mario game in a long time...and I wanted more of that dragon (not as much as Pauline but not the point)
Um, excuse-moi

HD remaster of 3D Land was not something I’d expect from the 3DS, though I’d love that...after Kid Icarus Uprising

hey I come back and get a lot of quotes.

okay so I don't know much about Fiyer Emblumz so I just named them what I thought made sense (with Martha just being a silly change).

Isabelle is Digby because her brother's name is Digby.

Murabito is just a joke to change the name to its Japanese counterpart because Villager already has girl alts, which is also why I didn't change Corrin or Robin.

I realized I forgot Joker - I guess since he might get a girl alt anyway idk if it matters, but just call his genderswap Jill or Jane I guess.

I thought about the Duck Hunt thing for a moment, but I wanted to give them silly names so eh...forgot about the gunner...

Coincidentally, I was gonna change Palutena to Paul until I thought I had a name that fit better.

I didn't know what to call Snake so I just made him Arbok's pre-evolution (now I think he should've been Cobra).

for Pac-Man I just thought "Pac-Woman and Mr. Pac-Woman"

yeah Louise sounds better for Luigi.

I thought about Alphie for Alph, but since Brittany calls him that, I wasn't sure if it'd make sense as it seems like a playful nickname.

yeah I thought I remembered Sonia being a character, but I forgot who she was exactly as well as Sonic Underground.

Ridley stays Ridley as I've heard the name used for a girl character in a show.

I was thinking of changing Daisy to "Daron" but eh, just went with Sun.

NINTENDO USED A FANMADE SPRITE FOR A SPIRIT?!
It was the Masked Man spirit, it was patched out to be the Original one in 2.0.0.

Oh I see now.

that's what they get for using Google instead of asking the creators (although the original sprite is the first Google result for me).
