Ugh, I forgot I signed to cover someone's 6-9 PM shift tonight. So I guess I'm working twice as long as I thought I was tonight. Which sucks, because I was in the middle of Breath of the Wild's Master Trials before I got the email reminder. After reading replies on Sakurai comments on assist trophies, I'm just going to say what I think:

Assist trophies are FAR overhated. They're not big middle fingers, they're not there because Sakurai hate a series, it's there because some characters can't be made into fighters for whatever reason, so assists are the second best choice.

And, it is NOT better for them to not be in the game at all.
