Why wouldn't you just specify this to me instead of trying counter my points of the Prime series being a first person adventure then? That seems counterproductive by all accounts.

I think you might be having a hard time visualizing what an FPA is. Just because a linear game has collectibles doesn't mean it's an adventure game.

For instance New Super Mario Bros. Has Star Coins but I wouldn't lump it in the same category as Super Metroid.

It tends to happen when I rush my posts, tbh.

But yeah, maybe I have problems when it comes to defining a campaign in a 1st person game.

Ok well in his defense the Grinch leak was supposed to be base game, while this leak is DLC. I can't see a retro rep from a dead franchise for DLC as Nintendo knows they have to carry themselves and promote their series, even more so for third parties.

Regardless of what genre the Prime series falls under, what genres would you like to see Nintendo get involved with? Can be a genre they've never done before or one they've had some experience with but aren't actively making games for at the present.

For me, it'd be the city-building genre. That or the tycoon sim genre: I'd love a Pokemon equivalent of the Zoo Tycoon games.

I think it'd be cool to see their take on an MMO, First Person Shooter, or Horror game.

I mean obviously they have Prime 4 coming up and I think Fatal Frame 6 is happening to so MMO is about the only thing they're not doing yet. Could be meat if they did it in a Zelda or Xenoblade style.

Xenoblade Warriors is the right IP for the job.

I also want to see a constructor game where you build the course you need to cross with Mario. (aka cheapest, minimalist course)

Open world Metroid like BoTW.
