overall I liked the direct it was sad to see almost no smash but Yoshi,Mario maker 2,links awaking,fire emblem 3 houses ,marvel ultimate 3, dragon quest and platniums new game look pretty good and new amiibo are always a plus

I'm not gonna rant on FE and its representation in Smash at this point as that'd be beating a dead horse and I don't think I'd be convincing anyone anyways (plus I can tell where the overall mood of this thread lies)

I'm just not keen on it being compared to Pokemon as a justification for its representation - that's all

I'd assume because Sony wants that to stay a PS4 exclusive, and the Switch not having VR kinda defeats the purpose of porting it anyways

I don’t know about anyone else, but HK Silksong has me more excited than anything I saw on the Direct yesterday. Don’t misinterpret me, I am excited about a lot of stuff from yesterday, but Silksong looks amazing.

Y'all ever notice that people who complain about FE reps never complain about Mario or Pokemon having too many or Zelda having 3 Links and not much else?

For real though every single non-echo FE character is very unique and distinct from each other. People who think they aren't should pick up Marth go online for a bit, and then try and play any other FE character like they played Marth. They'll learn the hard way.

I know it shouldn't, but it bothers me that people keep calling his weapon a 'knife'. It is not a 'knife', it's a Dagger. And no, they're not the same thing. Daggers are different than Knives; they're not synonyms.

knife is the weapon class used in persona 5, not dagger

While rewatching the AC trailer for the billionth time I looked at the comments and one person said "wow the new Ice Climbers looks sick" and I was keeling over in laughter

It's half & half; just looked it up. Some of his weapons are called daggers, some without classification, and some with Knife.

My bad lol

The image of his equips always fit the definition of Dagger, so I had been ignoring the 'knife' classification and wrote it off as mistranslation.

I like echo fighters like Dark Samus.
Thanks to then, we actually get Amiibos of the ones in question, which sadly isn’t the fate of others like the Koopalings, Meta Ridley or Alph...

The last one is probably the most affected by being an alt.
