Now that the direct is done, I thought I'd share all the games and my thoughts on them (not that it matters to anyone really lol).

**To preface, I see a lot of comments on how boring or bland this direct was. I totally get different opinions and what not, but when one sets themselves too high for Hype, this happens, so it's always important to temper expectations so one is not dissapointed. That said, yes, I would have loved Smash news, but we already have an amazing game and Piranha Plant just came out 2 weeks ago. If i had to rate this on an arbitrary scale, i would give it an 8/10 based on content and # of new info**

Lastly, the games like Animal Crossing Switch, Luigi's Mansion 3, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Gen 8 (would be via GameFreak anyway and may be soon), etc will have updates as time goes on, 3 of these 4 games hopefully this year and very likely to be this year. I hope people try to remember that there are still so many games coming, and while it does stink waiting for ones we are excited for, not to bash the games that are on the way because you may not personally into it.

We may get a specific direct for smash in April (if the 3.0 update seems to be as big as it is, and with more DLC on the way prior to the big reveals anticipated at E3) let us try to enjoy what we do have and not stress so much for DLC characters like this. I was hoping for Joker gameplay/footage but I can live until than.

Super Mario Maker 2: (YES loved MM1)
Astral Chain: (I REALLY dug the music and the aesthetics. I am a BIG fan of Platinum Games, so this is one of my top 3 in the direct)
The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening Remake: (YES, I LOVED this game growing up, so underrated, but happy it got some spotlight and on Switch now!)
Oninaki: Oninaki: (Definitely interested as I really enjoyed I am Setsuna and Lost Sphere. Along with Octopath Traveler (meaning SE and Nintendo Collab) SMRPG2 one day?! God i wish

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: (Not for me, but cool for the fans)
Box Boy + Box Girl: (Never played Box Boy series, but interested)
Captain Toad: Teasure Tracker: (was good on the wii U and all, but not anything I am too wild on personally for the DLC/updates)
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night: (As a big Castlevania fan, looks promising and already backed it, still continues to look really good!)
Dragon Quest Builders 2 Switch: (Never got into DQ but looks nice from what i saw)
Dragon Quest XI S: (Anticipated to be shown at some point soon and it does look good, so definitely interested)
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival: OBVIOUSLY GOTY (jk, it's fine for those who like it I jus't don't care for it)
Starlink: Battle for Atlas Updates: (Looks fine, i played the base for a bit, but never gripped my attention, gimme Star Fox Grand Prix Plz)
Rune Factory 4 Special: (Never played a RF game, but happy for the fans) *Same goes for Rune Factory 5*
Yoshi's Crafted World: (Was already getting it as a big Yoshi Fan. I will try out the demo this weekend!)
Fire Emblem Three Houses: I really liked the change in direction and I am very intrigued to play this one as FE fan!
Tetris 99: This is THE battle Royale we needed everyone! (But for real, that's awesome!)
Dead by Daylight: (Didn't interest me, but the idea is neat for those who like it)
Deltarune Chapter 1 (Loved Undertale and CH 1 for DR, so this is a continued excitement!)
Daemon X Machina: (Was interested in this before, and I will try demo on the weekend)
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (The mental health aspect interests me as a big fan of psychology and the mind)
Assassin's Creed 3: Remastered: (I am not an AC fan, but it looks fine for those who are fans)
Unravel 2: (One of the few games I liked from E3 last year, so good to see it coming to switch)
Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX: (As a big fan of FF, already played these awesome games, but finally on a Nintendo console is definitely good!)
Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy!: (As a fan of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, this is interesting to me, will look into it!)

If you made it through, thank you for looking into my random opinions! I am looking forward to this year even more now, and especially with E3 coming still! I am going to remain positive on all the fun games we will be able to enjoy

No you didn't. It no longer mentions anything about Spider-Man or X-Men, the two best comic franchises. I mean, they both have hyphens in their names too. It's almost like a symbol of quality.

To be fair if Marvel didn't remind us that Captain Marvel exists every 11 seconds of the day we would all forget she exists and assume they mean Billy Batson.

They should have shilled Monica Rambeau instead. She was Captain Marvel before Carol, but After Mar-Vell.

Dunno why, but I digged the old-school costume, as weird as it is. Same with Mar-Vell's.

It's not "across all games" as KMDP claimed, it's only for non-Yoshi games like SMW, SMRPG and Mario & Luigi
