Time for my overanalysis on Joker's model.

Ahem:

Interesringly, he wields the knife backhanded. While he may not do it for all his animations, this would imply that he at least is more focused for up-close confrontations due to the arm having to extend forward more before the knife hitbox becomes active. To compensate, it's very likely the speed of his attacks would be much faster.

However at the same time, the knife is abnormally large, probably for clarity sake, but still it wouldn't surprise me if he managed to outrange or outprioritize some characters with fast stubby attacks like dtilts or jabs.

Also, a noticeable lack of a pistol. So right off the bat, he's not going to be Robin style dual-wielding it. Either it's not present in his moveset (the more likely outcome), or he only pulls it out for specific attacks.

Or maybe nothing, I dunno, I'm bored.

They're treating DLC as an afterthought, which is how it should be. AAA games have this really bad habit of releasing a game and then a bunch of DLC a month or so later, leading to $80 and $90 deluxe versions, which is absolutely insane to pay for.

Considering that’s the price we should be paying anyway for them to actually make their money back, I gladly welcome it. Like, just based on numbers, $80-$90 should be the base price. But no one would buy it then. But if they only sold base $60 games with nothing else, they wouldn’t make their money back and they’d go bankrupt. So this is the middle ground they’ve found. Stop complaining about a problem you’re the cause of.
